Lines all the way out the door, unfriendly tellers.... poor management

The staff at this branch are very knowledgeable and experienced. I’ve watched them deal with difficult customers. They do everything in their power to help keep their customers safe from fraud. Some customers don’t understand that they can not have it their way.Great job RBC Staff at Walker Branch.

Fantastic service! The teller was able to help me out with my bank draft fees since I was incorrectly informed on the fees involved with my account.He was able to set up a satisfactory solution and it was rather a pleasant interaction. Typically at the end of the day the employees are more sour, but not here. Great team, would recommend.

I had a fraud case against me and went into the branch to sort it out. Staff was super helpful and told me to provide some paperwork and other identification and when I did as they asked, my issue was solved!!!Thank you so much to the branch staff of RBC kingsway and walker especially Olympia! While I was sorting this out, a client was getting super loud and angry ! It’s amazing what these employees put up with just to be able to go home to their families.

Very bad experience and poor service. Teller didn't even mention about going to the phone provider and have it professionally reset because I normally just reset it on my own. Now I need to go back and forth redo the whole thing which I lost a lot of my files already from my device.

Olimpia malsegna the assistant branch manager is extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude to encounter. What should have been a simple task to unblock my account resulted in over 1.5 hours and ultimately the block on my account was still not resolved and unable to withdraw funds. I went down the street to the other rbc branch and it took less than 10 minutes to do! Unbelievable how I presented govt ID and 3 additional pieces of ID with name and address at this branch and they still would not verify me. They asked for a bill, when I provided my credit card bill from a different bank they said they needed a bc hydro bill only. How is one possibly able to verify oneself it doesn't make any sense if they refuse to accept what they asked of me! I have banked with every major cdn bank and have NEVER experienced anything like this. Whether the problem is with rbc or with this branch in particular or maybe just this manager I would NEVER recommend this branch for even the simplest of transactions they just wasted several hours and my energy to not be able to access my account for absolutely no reason. Notwithstanding the rude and time consuming service. They continue to try to gaslight you into thinking that their actions are normal cdn bank protocol when I have been banking in cda for over 20 years and have never ever heard or experienced such a thing! If a customer walks in person to a branch provides govt ID and multiple other forms of ID and statements it is unheard of to be continually suspicious for absolutely no reason and still leave the account blocked. Please tell me how on earth it would be possible to further verify ID after already presenting every piece of ID available?! The manager olimpia tried to charge us $20 to close a savings account that had been opened just 20 mins prior which we closed because of this poor experience only. Wow talk about complete absurdity and petty behavior. Just making up rules as she goes and spurting whatever she feels like at that moment. Save yourself the time trouble and stress and do not bank here! It is obvious the leadership does not care one bit about their service. They will not allow you to access your own funds after doing everything to verify your ID. Will absolutely escalate and submit a formal complaint to the ombudsman very poor experience at this branch.
