Lakeview Park Campground

Very relaxed atmosphere and nice lake. Price was extremely reasonable with reverse osmosis running water and electricity. Washroom facilities were great and shower was incredible :) highly recommend for any traveler!

Lakeview Park Campground is one of those summer destinations that you haven't heard of....yet. A beautiful little 28 site campground in a wonderful small town of Shoal Lake, Manitoba. The campground is at the edge of the lake surrounding by well kept green spaces including a park with fountains, a playground, a swimming pond, a washroom/shower building, boat launch, beach volley ball area and a really neat mounted police museum all connected together by two foot bridges. Everything is literally 3 blocks from downtown's main street for shopping, the post office and library as well as Choy's asian food restaurant and Benny's pizza and ice cream parlour. Doreen is a great and attentive caretaker and the whole experience was a relaxing stress free one.

Nicely located right on Shoal lake. Playground for the kids. Small beach and you can even swim. Some of the sites are not that level so, don't forget your blocks.

Very quiet and cozy little place. After travelling all day from Alberta the seasonal campers at their site around dusk were very helpful. They were welcoming and answered any questions we had.The campground itself was very clean and quiet. Showers were free and cost per night was less than $30. One of the best campgrounds we stayed at on our trip across Canada.

Private sites accompanied by clean convenient shower and laundry facilities made for an excellent holiday. Did I mention that you are practically on the golf course?!?

A very well-kept campground in a beautiful setting. The lake, as per the name of the campground, adds to the ambience. Possibly the nicest rest room / shower facilities I’ve seen in a campground. Nightly rates are the same for tents and RVs. Payment by cash or cheque only.

Had a very nice level site overlooking the park and lake. Bathrooms were clean with a nice shower for the campers. Would definitely come again

A little gem of a campground. Too bad the lake had an algae problem so it didn't smell so good. Only a few overnight back in sites, but they all look out on to the lake. The washrooms were quite presentable, showers free. The rate was only $25!! About the only down sides were that the services weren't on the left on all sites and no sewer. There is a dump station just outside the park though. Very friendly and accommodating lady runs the place. The dump site was plugged when we arrived and she had a guy there and it was pumped out within an hour, even though it's supposedly maintained by the city. Most impressed.
