They saved us about $2,000 from a previous quote with another provider - and did a much more complete job within that cost! They cut and replaced 10 feet of cast iron main line and installed PVC from the house to the tank - and installed two 4” clean-outs. The money saved from a previous quote (that we ALMOST committed to - which did NOT include tank clearing) financially allowed us to do a bit more of a thorough job by clearing the tank again (GA Hunt had sucked the tank for us in February also) - that was actually where the problem was!! Due to a treatment that we did after the first tank clearing, solids in the tank had risen to the top and plugged the waste inlet. Be VERY careful of what you put in your septic system to kill tree roots!! Everything else looked great after we removed roots from the tank - and the tank is actually healthier than we thought. The GA Hunt Excavating & Septic guys were incredibly engaged, professional and cool dudes and they were very efficient today! Very happy with their efforts!! Many, many thanks to Clint of Drain & Inspection Services out of Charlotte, MI. also.. HE is the one who initiated our huge savings!! He was shocked at the price I was quoted by Roto-Rooter and put me on the better path! THANKS AGAIN, GA Hunt and Drain & Inspection Services! That took a HUGE stress off of us and the cost was very appropriate, in my unprofessional opinion!

I hired G.A. Hunt to dig up my front lawn so I could replace a discharge line for my homes sub pump which ran across my lawn 32 feet up to the cement driveway. The ground slowly overtime started to subside, but unfortunately it dropped just a bit to much under part of the driveway, causing a small crack and dip in the ground. I was worried this would get worse.I called one of the contractors that worked on the job and also G.A. Hunt asking to speak to my main contact Robin so we can fix the sinking issue.I did not hear form Robin, however someone did come by to work on the problem and spending 5 minutes with some nice equipment.But still, they didn't do it correctly. Had they called me I would have had them focus on the one area, and wouldn't want them to use their heaving equipment on the cracked driveway (see pic).After this happened I called G.A. Hunt 3 times speaking to Ashely, asking Robin to call me back so we can fix this correctly, but never got a returned my call.In the end I had to hire a new contractor and pay them to fix the problem. I would not recommend G.A. Hunt services to anyone, because of my horrible customer experience, AND also because they didn't listen to me, their paying customer.

We needed new sewer lines for two East Lansing student rental properties. I chose GA Hunt because they were very informative and explained every step that was needed to complete the process. My contact, Robin, was very professional and responded quickly to my inquiries. They showed up on time and completed the work; they exceeded my expectations!. The only thing that doesn't get them 5 stars is the fact that they never called. Just showed up. Other than that their service is excellent and price is very reasonable. I was home both times they stopped, and I needed their service. So I was ok with it

We had G A Hunt replace piping coming from the house out to the main sewer line. Their overall cost stayed true to the original estimate which we felt was very fair. The crew did a great job with clean up and were great to work with. I'd highly recommend G A Hunt!

We hired G. A. Hunt to fix our main drain from our house to the City's connection. They gave us a reasonable quote for the work; they showed-up on time; they were efficient with their work; and they completed the task in a reasonable amount of time. However, within a few days, our main drain backed-up again; much to our chagrin. We called them back and within a matter of hours, they had scoped out the problem, gotten the crew back to our house, and had completed the repairs without any more issues - what a great way to turn a potentially bad situation into a victory for the company. I do not say this lightly (or frequently), but I am impressed with G. A. Hunt's professionalism, their responsiveness, AND their willingness to problem solve so efficaciously. Thank you! G A Hunt was great and did an emergency pumping on my septic system on a Sunday night. The secretary, Ashley was on her email on this Sunday and the on-call gentlemen coordinated the service. The serviceman called me before his arrival, promptly provided the service and answered my questions about the system I have. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and will use them again as needed. Great service!

I called looking for a quote to have 3 tank risers installed. G A Hunt had a professionally trained representative on the line ready to answer my questions. I was able to provide information and receive a quote over the phone. An installer came out a week later and did a great job.
