Sacred Heart Catholic High School

I went to this school from grades 9-11, the first two years 2019-2021 were great! for some reason this year they went totally downhill. There is no mental health support, guidance does not do their job, most teachers like to humiliate students in front of over 20 other students. Do not recommend sending your kids to this school anymore. Miss how this school was a few years ago.

This school was the worst school I've ever been too I've personally been humiliated many times by the guidance teachers and yelled at by the current principal and old one they only believe one side if stories when it comes to issues with students DO NOT GO HERE!

I am a student at SHHS, gotta say it’s been the worst 4 years of my life. No support. Have to constantly be on your toes to advocate for yourself. The staff is rude and isn’t very profession. Mental health support isn’t there. Please do yourself a favour protect your child from the psychological harm. The principal here is rude, and says what ever he wants and doesn’t take accountability.The counsellor’s at the school are not very professional either.And good luck dealing with school board when needing to go above the sacred heart staff because it’s just like talking to a brick wall and at least with the brick wall you know what to expect. Staff talks behind parents and students back. They don’t even know the definition of confidentiality. They do not do there best to protect their students they are only there for them selves. I’m a grade 12 student. And I am currently fighting for change. I encourage you to do the same.

Have called 5 times - never got a human voice once and got directed twice to the incorrect extension. Extremely frustrating!

They have no idea how to support people who have any kind of mental health struggles. And even when given advise on the situation and what are some triggers choose they don’t care and present those triggers anyways. I would not recommend this school for a kid that needs any support because they will not get it from SHHS! The principle thinks he is better then everyone and knows everything so does not listen to concerns and treats people terribly!

Great high school with exceptional teachers who care about students. SHHS has great academic, sports and club programs. Well worth the 90km commute!!

this school isn't that bad but i'll give it 1 star anyway lol

I attended Sacred Heart in 2010 - 2014 and they went above and beyond for me and my mental health, they always did what they could to support me. I just called them to get my transcript and it was easy and everybody was so nice! Definitely a good school to go.
