the cashier scanned the item two times, so I paid double the price for one item. I checked the receipts and the items that I purchased after I left the store. The security guard didn’t let me in because it’s about their closing time. I explained I lived far away from this store, and he finally let me in. I talked with the cashier about the situation. She refunded me the money without any apology. Very disappointed driving 2 hours to be here for her attitude.

Good clothing selection but hit or miss with the employees. I find they are either extremely nice and helpful, or rude and ignore you.Last summer one of the employees overheard me tell my boyfriend I was unsure if a pair of pants would fit, she rudely told me they fit fine on her because she’s a 26 waist. Funny because I’m a 23 waist and my concern was the pants would be too big, not too small.Another time, the cashier made a snarky face and shoved my bag at me when she heard me thank my boyfriend for buying my $200 haul.Other girls I’ve interacted with have been amazing, helping me find things around the store and helping me in the change rooms!

Huge line outside and the store only allows 15 to 20 people’s in the store. I visited on Jan 3rd, 2023 and the weather was 4 degrees. Here few questions, why very limited people in large store? In case you need to make sure you every customer receives the best experience and the apparel and cloths won’t be messed up then find a better solution for people standing outside for over 1 hour. Make no sense the way they are managing the line outside the store and it goes so slow… I believe management can have more people in and also during this cold weather perhaps have a better way to keep people warm or perhaps do something comfort people. I have stayed in so many lines this was the worse.

Honestly pre-covid brandy i loved so much I always had pleasant visits! I still very much love the clothing, however this is the last time I ever visit the store! First of all the line up to go in the store is ridiculously long (almost feels like covid times because of it) and once you go in I feel like a criminal because I have security constantly following me and my toddler son to make sure we don't take anything... honestly I didn't look sketchy I had a toddler with me and I had no bags with me! I had clothing on my hands which I intended to buy and this guy was constantly eyeing me down... I have never in my life felt like some kind of criminal till this visit. And the employees did not help us what so ever. This store literally thinks too highly of themselves to have security literally following you to make sure you don't steal their 15 dollar jewelry lol. not worth the trouble of waiting in line just make you feel like you're a thief!

Very cool spot. We had to wait outside for almost an hour (cold) but honestly, if they didn't do that, the store would be too crowded to move in. The employees handle it all really well, and the young girls that helped my daughter were polite and hardworking. Everything my daughter bought looks amazing. Quality seems great. It made her happy to check out this famous spot, so win-win.

While the clothes may be cute, going to this store feels like hell. I think that the line ups and maximum capacity made more sense during covid, but now that things are back to normal it's just terrible that they still make you wait in hour long lines, even when the store is next to empty. I don't think it would hurt them to let a few more people in at a time. The staff is very rude about it too. They don't let you in as groups, so if you're planning on going with a friend be prepared to decide amongst yourselves who will be allowed in first. Once you're in, the staff are so unhelpful and just walk around the store doing whatever... the one size rule is obviously stupid but it doesn't look like they're changing that. The change room curtains don't close all the way so people can peek in through small cracks. In all, terrible experience at Brandy Melville". Maybe if they didn't require you to wait in such painfully long lines for mediocre one-size-fits-some clothes then I would give it a better review."

If I could give this ZERO stars, I would have.On the evening of January 9th, I shopped with my friend at this store for the first time and we were both trying on clothes. they gave us a number tag corresponding to it, at that point we just assumed it was matching to the number of items that we had told them when they asked us. I came out and gave the clothes I did not want and the tag and so did my friend however, they gave her the wrong number tag, as she only had 3 items and her tag said 4. She was confused about it but the workers there did not try to explain, educate us or apologize on the team’s behalf. She had 2 pieces of clothing and one bag which she was asked to place somewhere else (which is fair because it is accessories). As my friend left and we continued to browse the store, we noticed the girls in the fitting room were whispering and looking at us going back and forth where we were at in the store. We thought nothing of it at first, giving the benefit of the doubt and when we went to the cashier, bought our items, we went to the exit and the girl in the fitting room talked to the security and stood behind her and security had asked to check our bags. we showed the shopping bag that we just purchased and he took it and took the receipt and took out the clothes we just bought and my own scarf I placed in the shopping bag to check underneath BUT ALSO, he checked a SMALL gift bag I got from my friend that was CLEARLY wrapped and opened it infront of me... firstly ruining the surprise as it was a birthday gift for me. Secondly my friend asked “why are we being searched?” and the security claimed it was randomized". There were other customers behind us that had also bought something but he told them that they can go.. but with US

honestly love this place because of the style and price. Only think is that some of the workers don’t really help with anything. The store was pretty crowded but there was no line which there usually is.

Love the Brandy Melville clothing but almost every time I go in store there’s always a problem. Either the people working at unpleasant, completely ignore you, there policies always change depending on the day. For example, I was in yesterday (forgot my gift card) and 3 of them said they only do day of holds (not overnight) so today I called to put my items on hold for today and they said they don’t do holds at all… also the hold security guard checking your store shopping bag after you check out is wild, And the whole not allowed to bring your purse in the change room? I get that maybe they have high theft but is that even legal? It really sucks for the people that don’t steal cause they’re making everyone feel like a thief. I don’t know I honestly just really wish Canadians were able to shop online cause I always have an unpleasant in store shopping experience.
