We hired Michael for the inspection of our first home purchase. Knowing that it was our first home, he invited us to join him on the inspection and gave us an exciting crash course in home ownership. He devoted several hours to teaching us what to do in emergency situations with the furnace, water heater, water meter, and carbon monoxide detectors and gave advice to help us be proactive in preventing expensive problems. Make sure you pay attention because he will quiz you.After the inspection, Michael provided us with a detailed report with pictures, comments, and suggestions. He also offered ongoing support with referrals to contractors. Michael even gave us a discount as first time home buyers!Thanks to this inspection we understand the needs of our century home. I thoroughly enjoyed Michael's home inspection. He walked through the ins and outs of the property and made suggestions very valuable to me. The house was old, so it took almost 2 hours to complete the inspection. He was EXCELLENT, keeping my attention arrested throughout the two complete hours. His reports are so easy to read (with pictures and drawings) and lists many maintenance suggestions. If my family members are buying a house, this is the person to inspect the house with. He answered all of my questions, and more.
