East Sooke Regional Park - Aylard Farm Parking Lot
One of the largest untouched natural forested areas in greater Victoria! Perfect for a day trip, kayak adventure, camping or just a casual Saturday excursion. Plenty of decent to challenging trails, beaches, cliffs and magnificent trees. Trailheads are well marked but it's easy to get a little lost or lose track of time, and the service is spotty. Be prepared, let someone know where you went and leave enough time to return back to camp/your vehicle. Most of all, enjoy!

East Sooke Regional Park - Aylard Farm Parking Lot
One of the island’s best spots to explore. Numerous hiking options. Hike to beechy head, cabin point, the petroglyphs on the rocks, or the marine coastal trail. There’s a quick and easy little summit hike if you turn left on the trail going from the parking lot to the beach that has a nice view. The water is refreshing but it’s totally swimmable. The beach is powder white sand. An amazing spot!

East Sooke Regional Park - Aylard Farm Parking Lot
A short 5 min walk or hike from the parking lot will take you to the small beach. The beach at the end of the walk is a sand beach with trees. Further down the hike will take you to another beach which usually has less people but is rocky. Went on a July weekend and the water was cold. There's a fairly large parking lot. As the day gets later, the shade from the trees creep more on to the beachfront. Overall nice spot.

The trails in this park are amazing! Along stunning coastlines to cool, calm forest. Dog friendly, and off leash away from the picnic area. Good parking, but get here early, it gets busy!

This is definitely my favorite hike i'v ever taken. As long or short as you want with lots of water views. Possibilities for viewing Wales and Seals along the trail that winds along the water.

One of my favorite spots to go to clear my head and take in the beauty of Vancouver Island. Dog friendly, easy hiking, fishing at Beachy Head and spectacular views. Whales, seals and eagles are likely to be seen. Epic!

Awesome nature park on the coast. Just amazing things to see everywhere here. Hiking, picnic or beach fun, you can do it all here! The temperate rainforest of the area and the rugged coast line provides an epic oasis in nature. 20 min from sooke city centre.

The starting point of the incredibly beautiful East Sooke Coastal Hiking Trail. There is a large parking lot and toilets.
