Pro-Bel Group Ltd. – Fall Protection and Window Washing Safety Equipment - Ajax

This morning I was almost hit by one of ProBel's vans in Ajax, Ontario on Westney Road as it was leaving a Tim Horton's parking lot! As I jumped out of the way, my boot hit the vehicle and both the driver and passenger got out of the vehicle and threatened me with violence. After I told them they almost hit me, they told me to stay off the road (I was on the sidewalk) and drove off at a high speed. I would not feel comfortable with such angry, violent people performing any services for me, please be cautious about hiring this company's employees, they are volatile.

When asked for proof of strength of anchors on a Toronto low rise the papers did not exist. We were window washing and called the person responsible for signing off on the anchors, he said “that’s bulls***, tell them it’s fine.”May seem like a good company to work for and probably is, but there are some MASSIVE gaps in safety and ethics.We were never presented with any certification of papers, most likely because they do not exist. This is not a matter of opinion or “feeling safe” it’s the law in Ontario to only anchor to engineered, certified points.Being a company that specializes in roof anchors for work positioning or suspension and not having the required documents is more than just concerning, it’s unsafe and illegal.
