Nice little park with a soccer field, baseball diamond and small playground. There’s also a nice trail to the ninth river

Beautiful trail along the Nith River. Great spot to see the bank swallows, King Fisher, green heron and other majestic birds.

It looks like a great place to birdwatching. The trail goes along with Nith River. I have seen 4 Great Blue heron this time.

Loved the short walk under the trees. But the narrow path along the river was too narrow. Not advisable to take this route on shorts as the leaves scratch your legs.Saw an eagles nest up in a tree. Didn't see any eagle. This was at 3 to 5 pm in early August.

Piper's Glen Park
It's a nice enough neighborhood park. Tucked away and surrounded by some nice forestry. There's hiking path, playground, baseball diamond and soccer field. It would be nice to have had a Pavillion for shade and a few picnic benches. Other than that, it's your basic neighborhood park.

Good trails by the river for nature watching. Migrating birds ,ducks , geese ,Eagles , beavers and muskrats.

Just to be clear, I used the parking lot at the park, in order to hike along the trail beside the Nith. The park itself has about three entrances to the trail. The photos are all from the trail as well.The trail itself is quite nice. Nothing fancy, some sections were a trifle overgrown with weeds. Still, a good way to spend an hour or so on a nice summer day.
