This restaurant was a fabulous find. The atmosphere is great and welcoming, not to mention the amazing breakfast. So glad we came here to enjoy a very nice breakfast while waiting for our ferry.

We stopped in for a coffee and a piece of pie. Saw the specials and had the loaded potato skins too. Friendly, caring service and delicious food! I highly recommend it.

First time at The Miner's Daughter and it was an awesome experience. Food to make your heart and soul feel good. You will not leave this place hungry. If you are looking for a monster of a cheeseburger order The Franklin. The dessert case will tempt you before you even have a chance to gaze at the menu. Happy eating!

Home on holidays and went to the Miners Daughter for dinner.The food was delicious and the servicewas outstanding.Portion sizes were really big and the value is certainly there.Look forward to going again on my next trip home.

Most amazing food! Might have to drive 5 hrs back to go again sometime! Back again. Best hamburger ever! And I don't like hamburgers! The fries, blah. Best coldslaw I ever had!Charged. 50 cents for a wee bit of mayo. That seemed a bit wow.

Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is nice and updated. Service was slow just to ask us for our drink and food order. Food came out in a timely manner. Philly steak sandwich was tasty, fries were terrible. Large portion of fries, possibly to make up for the small sized sandwich. Not worth the price.

Nice place to hang out on the way of the trip in Maritimes.We bought club haddock sandwich, steaks. However, the service is quite slow.

It was moderately busy, with people waiting before us. We thought, this can't be good. Yet, very soon we find ourselves seated. A clearly tired person comes to take our order. She was so friendly and pleasant despite her fatigue. A true professional, and a rarity.We came here knowing nothing. We left knowing we're coming back. You should too.
