Sheraton Cavalier Calgary Hotel

Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. They compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't regret it.This hotel was amazing. Made my stay at Calgary way better. The pool is really nice, it is suitable for all ages. The rooms looked really clean, the beds were nicely made, and the view is amazing. Definitely worth the price! I will be staying here again! 300% would recommend!

We arrived in a panic as we left our previous hotel because it was dirty and had a bug on the bed. The staff were very eager to help us and even offered to help us with our luggage.The rooms are a good size, the pool is brilliant (only critique would be to have all staff watching closely as many kids were running and piling down the waterslide together. I'd hate to see someone get injured!)Breakfast at Colours was great as well! No complaints, you'll enjoy your stay here!

Save yourself the hassle and look for another venue to host your event, it's better than dealing with unprofessional people. I contacted Heather ( sales coordinator) and came in saw the confrence room and discussed all the details with her and told her we would be prebooking 7 of our events in advance and we can pay deposits to secure the dates and she checked the first date for us which is in Oct and she said it was available, we left And called back within an hour just to figure out the rest of our dates she refused to book any day for us except for Jan so basically 1 out of the 7 dates we gave her. I tried to talk to her but she's very unprofessional I asked to talk to her manger she fully ignored me. I called the hotel back and asked for a manger ofcourse the manger was not available to talk on the phone so they gave me an email only, I emailed and the manger ( Rhoda) but she has no straight answer .All it was is that for some odd reason they did not want us booking with them which doesn't make sense that the Oct date got booked within an hour. Any other hotel would wanted to be booked and would've wanted the business but I guess they don't need it. Their loss will definitely be hosting our events somewhere else

This is a great hotel with incredibly friendly staff. My favourite person was the hotel maintenance man named Bob. Bob had to help me with a couple of minor things in my room. He always arrived with a big smile and loads of patience. Bob loves his job and it shows. He was really kind and helpful and very quick at fixing things. Bob's really the reason I am leaving this review because he's just an awesome human. The hotel is lucky to have him.

The room was nice and comfy, the only reason for lower stars is there is zero sound proofing. Hallway noise was extreme. The room was supposed to include free breakfast as per the reservation agent however we were told it didn't. The Sheriton made this right however and gave us a bit of a rebate for our issue. Nice location and still a lovely stay. My one complaint would be the amount of air freshener in the lobby. I have a scent sensitivity and it was painful to walk through, very strong.

We checked out this hotel on the weekend. The pool was fantastic for the kids, and the area was a good local spot.The room, on the other hand, was gross. When we took the pillows out of the plastic bag in the closet, it looked like someone took a handful of their black hair and threw it on there, and they were musty smelling.I found a used kleenex beside the TV, and there were weird white stains on the pillows of the couch.There are so many people in and out of there that the house keepers need to make sure to do a double check while finishing up and make sure the pillows are cycled if not used.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Hotel in Calgary for a two-night business The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean, offering a good night's sleep after long days of meetings. The bed was cozy, and the amenities provided were sufficient. However, the room's decor felt a bit dated and could benefit from a modern refresh. meeting, and overall, my experience was decent, albeit with a few areas that could use improvement.Overall, the Sheraton Hotel in Calgary provided a decent stay for my business trip. The location, comfortable rooms, and helpful staff were positive aspects. However, the dated decor, unreliable Wi-Fi, and areas for improvement in dining and conference facilities prevent me from giving it a higher rating. With some upgrades and attention to detail, this hotel has the potential to offer a more satisfying experience for business travelers like myself.

Clean, comfortable, however it's a bit loud. Good hotel for families, however that comes with the negatives. Can't really blame the hotel as much as parents obviously, but screaming kids banging on the walls and pulling fire alarms after 10pm is painful. Walls felt really thin at that point.

WOW!!! This hotel has so much to offer and more!! Definitely a diamond in the rough of Calgary. I HIGHLY recommend for Families and Couples.We showed up on New Years Eve 2023 @ 10AM, hoping to drop our baggage off in the room. Not expecting early check in the room was ready and clean! The check in was fast and efficient. we left during the day but returned in the evening. When we got back we went to the pool which was very busy, but well maintained. They even had a life guard on duty. They have a bar at the pool so you can charge drinks to your room. Great for family's doing an over night who want the best of both worlds. In the evening, we went to Henry's pub for some food and a couple drinks. The staff was so friendly and cheerful, and the food was fresh and fast. After that we moved into the hotel lobby bar (colors bistro lobby), it was SLAMMED! As the hotel had two weddings that weekend, however - it didn't affect service even in the slightest. My husband and I sat at the bar and all of the integrity of the cocktails was maintained and everyone was served in a timely manner. Another manager Amanda, came onto the floor to assist and she was not only friendly to guest but also showed great respect to her staff. Once the lobby bar had cleared out, they had this gentleman who worked for cleaning that swiftly came in and cleaned and moved all the tables and chairs back. Having travelled allot for work, I was so impressed with the transition. It was new years and the bar was closing before 12PM, however the general manager of the hotel, allowed us to purchase an additional few drinks and we could stay seated in the lobby. He was kind and gracious and wanted us to enjoy our night. Over all bang for your buck is a 10! Cleanliness and service 10! This hotel has it all for the everyday modern family

Gary and Aziz were both incredibly helpful and friendly. Stayed here for an evening last minute. Room and hotel were nice and very clean, would definitely stay here again. Oh, and the hotel and room soaps smell incredible! Can't remember the last time I had this good of a sleep in a hotel.
