I have been banking with RBC for approximately 26 years. One of my employers only pays in cheque form and the tellers refuse to put it in as an employer which they have the ability to do when you deposit with a teller. The teller also tried to tell me they hold funds for 5 days if you go to a teller to deposit and I know for a fact this is not the case and I have been depositong from this employer for over a year. Had they just put in the name of the business they would know this. As a single mother who also requires assistance sometimes a lot of places require to see where your money is coming from I have also let them know when they do this it looks like I'm not employed and just have a random flow of cash this takes away substady I get for things like rent aid. If I deposit it any other way it's held for 4-5 days and this is really hard to provide for my child when I can't afford to gleven get groceries for 3 weeks due to a hold when I have been depositong from the same employer for a year plus. This bank has the worst tellers Assinanoin credit union will take the time to write in who the cheque is from if you ask my teller completely refused.
