Had a great experience today at Lena’s. Staff were friendly, very clean atmosphere, and love my pedicure!

You continue to inaccurately defend the poor manicure and service, which is more of a reason I will never return to your salon.___________________________________________________________Worst nail salon I’ve ever been toI recently tried this nail salon out for the first time, but will never go back. When I went to get a manicure, the nail technician used a nail drill to grind off my previous shellac polish, and when I questioned that, she assured me that it was the best for the nails because she was applying this ‘magic removal’ serum first. I wasn’t confident since I know how bad that is for nails, but I didn’t have the energy to argue with her. Within a couple of days, the shellac on my nails began to chip, and once it chipped, my nails started to break because of how thin she grinded down my nails. When I went back to the salon to very politely ask about their policy for fixing short lasting manicures, the man who works there looked at my nails and blamed it on my nails being unhealthy, and then proceeded to take a phone call to end our conversation. I’ve been doing shellac manicures for many years, and the nail technicians have always commented on how strong and healthy my nails are. They have also removed my shellac safely by soaking the shellac in acetone. The man who worked at this salon offered to remove all my shellac for free, but would not do anything to fix the manicure. Overall, very unimpressed for the salon not fixing the poor manicure they gave me, trying to blame it on the health of my nails, and then dismissing me in the middle of our conversation. It wasn't worth arguing about, I don't want to go to a salon that cares so little about the quality they produce.Update since my original post (after the salon responded with inaccurate information):As specifically mentioned to the salon, my nails started to chip after 5 days. The damage done to my nails from the nail grinder is so bad, I will need to let my nails grow out before my nails can sustain more shellac unfortunately. They damaged my nails significantly. I was also told by the salon when I got my nails done that they would touch up nails if chipped between one to two weeks, so they gave me false information. I've never had such a bad manicure.There was no chance to further explain to situation at the salon. The man dismissed me.2nd update (again to salon's incorrect response):I tried to share this with the man at the salon but he continued to dismiss me. Also as mentioned, it wasn't worth arguing, because I don't wish to have a salon that ruined my nails continue to work on them.Worst manicure ever, and just like the man in the salon, this owner is continuing to defend the poor work completed.

Lena’s was not my usual nail salon but now it might be!! The staff is incredibly kind and understanding on top of the fact that they are fantastic nail artists. They have good prices and when my mom and I had crazy designs they created them, even with some trial and error. Walking in felt like a community that I can’t wait to be apart of, can’t wait to come back!

An incredible experience I had there. It was my first time in a pedicure in Canada and it was amazing. The girl who attended to me, I think her name is Mali, was very professional and very attentive. Thank you very much

I have gotten my nails done by Anne and I’m always happy when I leave the salon! She does such a great job, highly precise, and she’s really nice! :)

Talented people work at Lena's Nails. They are usually not as busy as other nail salons in Guelph. I hope that by posting this review I don't ruin that! They are also more reasonably priced than other salons. I took my son's GF for a Christmas present on the 23rd and her full at ailing with my fill was just over $100. In would have been at least $150 at my usual spot. I'm switching to Lena's permanently

This is my go-to! After trying out the majority of nail salons here in Guelph, I am SO HAPPY I found Lena's Nails. I see them once every 3 weeks and they are absolutely amazing! Clean, friendly, plenty of options for everyone. It's an absolute luxury everytime I go. Included a picture of my nails this morning!

Got a manicure here today and it is such a great experience. It is a beautiful and clean space, and the people are so lovely! I hadn't been here for almost 4 years as I had multiple maternity leaves back to back and they remembered me! I couldn't believe it. Such a wonderful place and my nails always look perfect.

Went for a pedicure with my mom and the ladies were lovely. I got a gel shellac and it came out perfect. The overall experience, from being greeting as we entered, the foot care and massage, the colour, was excellent. I would highly recommend this nail salon, especially if you’re in the south end because the location is so convenient.
