The Black Horse Pub
I have been enjoying this local Pub for many years now. I have appreciated it even more since the outbreak of Covid (unfortunately). Every once in a while my husband has been sweet enough to want to give me a break from cooking and I always choose a local restaurant to order from. I can’t wait until we are able to sit in again because as great as the food is, the atmosphere is also amazing!

Food is great across the board. Soup, stew, sandwiches, dinners - all of it is excellent. Owner is very friendly and all the staff is helpful. Only issue is that I asked a question about push-mowers and they had no information to add to my table's discussion! ;)

Food is excellent! Our server was really awful, but did apologize for the many issues we endured. They have live bands which a lot of fun. Very busy spot on a Saturday night

Restaurants live in the world of making great first impressions. In the world of google reviews, it's do or die. For me my family tonight, the first impression was not good. We were shoved in the back corner, which might have been fine, but we ended up being ignored the entire time. We were never asked for refills( I would have loved another beer). My wife did not have the chance to order a drink, because our waitress never came to ask if we needed anything. The waitress a different one) who dropped off our food seemed to care less as I don't think she was in charge of our table. My kids were never asked if they wanted more to drink, and to top it off our food was prepared wrong.

Guinness on tap poured perfectly even during the hectic wonder that was St. Patty’s Day. Irish stew was excellent and the atmosphere was lit! The band lineup was so incredible and we had the best time, can’t wait till the patio opens!

Excellent service ... a tasty burger with a cold one. What else would you wish for after a long hike. The staff is friendly, live music was loud and good ... rowdy but hey it was an 80s rock night. Reccomended.

Went to the black horse to have dinner and listen to live music. Sat down ordered drinks and dinner. After 45 minutes, I noticed other tables that arrived after us were getting their dinners served, checked with our server, and was informed she forgot to put our order in. We paid for our drinks and went to have dinner somewhere else.

Always a great time at the Blackhorse. Live music nearly every night of the week. A great place with no nonsense as the vibe is generally a 30+ crowd. Staff in ownership group are friendly and the prices are reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

Wow!!I’ve been coming to the Blackhorse regularly on Thursday nights and sometimes Friday nights, but Thursday nights are my favourite nights such a awesome time to enjoy the art of entertainment with friends and meeting new friends the staff are amazing they work really hard to serve us and the owner and his wife are phenomenal. They care about their customers. Food is fantastic and the hospitality is amazing. Thank you Desmond in your staff.Rich G

Great place to relax and enjoy some great food. Food is so good and you get alot of food. Staff is amazing. Must go on a live band night an listen to great music.
