This is exactly what a local business SHOULD be, and why we should support them. I had an ancient gift certificate (I’m talking 15 years, not just two or three!) for a relatively substantial sum of money. Of course, by law gift certificates cannot expire, but it was so old I wasn’t sure the store would even be able to authenticate it. But they honoured the card without even batting an eye, and even gave a small discount to make sure that the card covered my entire purchase! They made a customized photo frame (wedding gift), and it was truly a thing of beauty! Beyond anything I could possibly have even imagined. (And I did imagine something, and told them to do it, and they did it wayyy better than what I’d imagined!). The craftsmanship was impeccable, and customer service was top notch. I highly recommend this establishment, and I will be returning any time I need a service that they provide.

I required photos to be used on business cards and other advertising. When I thought about who to call, I really only had one place in mind, WD West. They have been in PG for so long and they were my only consideration. Craig, as always, was very pleasant and my photographer, Helen, was awesome and truly professional. Helen took the time to inquire why I needed the photos and where they would be used. She spent time with me searching adds of colleagues from my industry to ensure the photos she was taking of me matched the professionalism required. Helen had my best interests at heart and it was greatly appreciated.I highly recommend WD West and on a side note, it also felt very satisfying supporting a business in the downtown core of Prince George.

Always the best service and one of the last places in town to get your film developed. If you need a picture framed, they're also your best bet!

We had some work done here recently and there was a bit of an issue with a photo. I went back in and explained to them what the issue was and they did not hesitate to acknowledge the problem and rectify it right away, no questions asked. They also stated that it would be completed and ready for pick up in a very timely manner. This is the kind of customer service that you just can’t get in the “big box” stores. This is the very reason why it pays to keep your business local. They care about each and every one of their customers. I will definitely return here again for any of my photography needs.
