Centre Theatre

Did not want to write this review but for other POC you should probably be aware this place was where I experienced the most number of consecutive racist things in all of Trenton. From the staff to the patrons, it is not a safe place, if you have kids probably don't bring them here to be harassed or witness your harassment. If you are a POC go with a non POC person at the least. Felt like a sundown town-blank stares, rude remarks, whispering and giggling to loud heckling outside, all while white customers are treated with courtesy and even niceness so you can feel the difference even more. I was even 'bumped into' with no apology, just stares, a couple times by teenagers and adults all while out with my young daughter. It is terrible that this still happens in 2023 and I don't love leaving negative reviews on a small business. But perhaps this will incite change or at the very least keep POC from an unexpected negative experience. Sidenote: I am experiencing more racism in Trenton this year than any of the previous 3 years I've been here.

Well priced and a fun little theatre to take you kids to on a Saturday

Always loved going here to watch movies. It's an old one-room theater that's been converted into three screens! If you love a small town movie theater then this will give you all the feels! The staff was always pleasant and helpful; the prices are really low; the seats aren't great for those who are bigger or broader, and I would recommend an aisle seat if you're taller so you can have some leg room; the movie selections are always the latest and greatest; and the concession choices are really great. It's genuinely a great theater!

Great smaller town theater experience. You can still go to see current films and not have to refinance your house:) staff are always welcoming and seats are super comfy!

Been going to this theatre ever since I was a kid, definitely no cineplex but pricing is a lot better. Since they’ve reopened after covid hit, I find their hours to be a bit spotty and it hasn’t been too great since. Nice staff, good prices, clean. Only problem are the actual movies lately. I find it’s been a little depressing to want to go lately as the movies that have been playing for the past few months aren’t that great. However, overall a great theatre as well as a nice place to bring kids.

Went to see Mario Brothers today and it's wasn't crazy busy but busy enough to create lines.Unfortunately there were only two workers and so there were delays in getting snacks, however, the two girls working were amazing and handled their own and go through the crowd customer by customer without any kind of attitude or frustration.Kudos to the girls there tonight. You did great

Small town theatre with a small town feel.Always playing the latest movies with multiple show times. Snack bar could use options besides popcorn, chocolate and candy, Screen sizes are good and the sound quality is fantastic.

Small screens, stoned staff, toilets weren't flushing properly.Place is hurting.

I used there bathroom, and of course the stall door doesn't lock, jimmy rigged it so it stays closed. Then after the business of course the toilet paper is empty. This wasn't first thing in the morning or late at night it was the middle of the afternoon. Come on people it's called facility maintenance. Keep up with it.
