Sechelt Dental Centre

Years ago I treated myself to a pair of crowns to straighten my uneven front two teeth by taking out a line of credit for $3000. Less than a year after I received them, the mouthguard I wear religiously went mysteriously missing and I had to be molded for a new one. The Sechelt Dental Centre would not allow me to take ownership of the replacement mouthguard until paid in full and they would not allow me to make payments. They made no effort to assist me in a bad situation. A couple months later I had moved to Vancouver Island and once I had saved up enough money; I paid for the guard in full only to find out when it was shipped to me they had sent me a lower one which caused cracks to my two new front crowns. The few months I was saving up for the mouthguard probably played a part in the hairline cracks on my new $3000 teeth too. When I called concerned about the cracks I could see in the teeth, I was told You should have been wearing your mouthguard" despite them knowing the whole story - even after I explained again. A few days later one of the crowns fell apart in my mouth when I bit into my food and I was left without a front tooth. I was hysterical as I worked in customer service and could not go to work with a missing tooth - only a grounded down fang! I worried about the other tooth breaking as well. I called Sechelt Dental Centre again and they shut me down for the last time. "There is nothing we can do" I was told. I was a single mother of a toddler at the time

I went to them because they were basically the dental office at the time in sechelt. And I’m not at all happy with the services provided there. I went in there because a tooth was bothering me & x-rays were taken & I was told nothing was there. Low & behold months later I go to another dentist for same tooth, they do x-rays and find a cavity. Luckily it was found & taken care of. I find most things in sechelt are expensive & sechelt dental clinic is no better. They don’t offer 100% on insurance policies, so you always have to pay the difference.

Dr Crowley is very experienced and great at her job. First dentist I've had in a long time that I trust. Very skilled dental mechanic also. Looking forward to what she makes for me.

This used to be such an amazing dental centre but in the last 5 years I have only been repeatedly disappointed and frustrated with their care and service. Too bad it used to be the only place I would consider going and now I am looking for someone new.

Took me in as a new patient and helped relieve me of a bad tooth right away! Amazing folks! We're lucky to have them on the coast!

Had a very bad experience here. Many years ago I went there to get a tooth out, I was young never paid my bill $60 that I owed, Moved,changed address,never got “the” letter saying I had and outstanding $60 bill so it went to collections. Long story short 15 years later I go back there to have another tooth pulled except this time I was in an extreme amount of pain. The lady puts me in a room, leaves me there well they go for lunch... I am in extreme agony. I could not believe she couldn’t give me some freezing well she sat in the next room laughing and enjoying her lunch, I will never go back nor would I recommend it to anyone..

Huge thanks and five stars to Dr. Schloegl and her team! Dr. Schloegl has taken great care of my teeth with compassion, kindness and patience since I was a young child (even though I can be a very nervous patient). She has recently started caring for the rest of my families teeth and I was so relaxed knowing my four year old was in good hands at his first filling today. Dr. Schloegl and her team really went the extra mile with his care and attention during a scary/weird time. Thank you staff at Sechelt Dental Centre!

I’m happy that the dr I seen here was pretty cool! My mouth is in bad shape and I was nervous forever. This dr ( I can’t remember his name) but I just had oral surgery so I’m not up to par atm. Anyways he’s a very nice guy and very caring! I feel taken care of which I haven’t felt for years due to poor dentists I’ve experienced in the past. I appreciate the gentle attitude. You do have to pay a portion, but I think it’s worth it!

I have been a patient here for 26 years and after every appointment (I'm there 2 or 3 times a year for check-ups, cleaning and fillings or whatnot) I'm so grateful for my dentist and this wonderful clinic. I always come away feeling validated, reassured, and very much cared for. Hoping business gets back to normal asap!I can't help feeling that the negative comments below have a hidden agenda... perhaps to promote some other clinic?
