Dr. Jane Yang (Red House Vision Centre) - Optometry & Optical

Dr Yang is very patient and understanding. I work on the computer all day long and gets lots of headache and eye-aches, she helped explain and suggest doable ways to help sooth the ache a lot! The staff is also very helpful, and explained to me different lens and helped me pick a great glasses that looks really cute! and also helped with headaches!

Dr. Yang and her team helped me picked a pair of glasses that I absolutely love! They have a good selection of frames and the team is very friendly and experienced. Will Definitely come back.

Great location in Oshawa, right on the main street with lots of parking. So many fabulous eyeglass frames to choose from, but the friendly, knowledgeable, professional optician made it easy. I loved all the great designer frames, and purchased three of them. I am looking forward to my next eyeglass shopping adventure at the Red House Vision Centre. Thank you!

I would highly recommend this optometry clinic! Dr. Yang took great care of me, helping to get me a new prescription and showing me the different contact lens and glasses options. I had a previous pair of glasses that she even kindly repaired for me.

We are new to Oshawa and my husband needed an Ophthalmologist. I booked him an appointment to see the ophthalmologist and since they have optometrist I booked an appointment too.Anyway during my appointment right away I noticed that the assistant I had was a bit rough. She almost hit my face when she's adjusting something. Dr Yang was nice and friendly but she would not give me my prescription her reason was because I am not going to buy glasses with them. I know it's illegal for her not give me my prescription because I paid for it. I didn't bother to urge as was already upset and I don't want to make a scene.The next day was my husband's appointment with Dr Jason Kohman I think his name. Before my husband goes in the room to see him the assistant told the doctor that my husband need an interpreter which we never told her. I usually go in with him because he had hard time hearing and concentrating because of his other medical issues.Anyway when we were in Dr Kohman was already rude to my husband, he keep stopping my husband when he was trying to explain about what's happening to his eyes. You see his right eye had a blood or bleeding like the veins were injured. He gave us a medical word that only doctor would use.To make story short he keep insisting that where we came from the air was different than here in Canada. Canada has a dry air and that's what causing my husband's eye to bleed. He keep repeating where we came from and even though we said he been here for 40-45 years he keep saying that we're not because he has accent.That really made me angry because this Dr just descriminated us. I could have told him off right there but I controlled myself. Even my husband controlled himself.Never in our life here in Canada that we encountered Doctors like this. Very unprofessional.

Dr. Yang and her professional staff were very friendly and helpful with my vision exam and they gave lots of useful information tailored to me. They had my backup eyeglasses adjusted and they feel brand new, thank you! Looking forward to return in the future!

I had a great experience with Dr. Yang. She took the time to explain what was going on with my eyes rather than just writing a prescription and sending me on my way. I didn't feel pressured to buy my glasses here, which I appreciated. 5/5!

Dr. Jane is the best doctor! She was so patient, Caring, knowledgable and didn’t rush us. She took her time to explain everything to me and my son and was very friendly with my son. She also helped us to choose the glasses. Thank you so much Dr Jane, I wish we have a lot of doctors like you
