Cafe Il Nido
A cozy Italian restaurant tucked at a corner, hidden from the view of the busy streets of Thurlow and Robson. The staff and food were all great. Our group ordered a variety and food and they were all executed well. The food is good, not pretentious and it's reasonably priced for the quality and quantity you get. I recommend going with a group of people so that you can share and taste a variety of pasta on the menu. We'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Great pasta. I like my pasta garlicky, and their seafood pastas are awesome.The staff is attentive, atmosphere is cozy and quiet.It's not a place that's found easily and can walk in from the street, it's somewhere you have to know where to go.I will definitely come back for live music nights and try other food on the menu.I am really hoping for consistency in food taste.

Nice little restaurant trying hard to have the classic Italian experience. Food was just ok. Nothing really memorable except the bruschetta which was so good that we had multiple portions . Service was attentive . Value was ok due to low quality of mains and quite high prices

A hidden Gem in Robson street! A must to-go place in Vancouver! Excellent food in both quality and quantity(with the same/higher price, you can only get the half portion of steak in cactus cafe). Friendly and professional staff. Cozy and clean room. And passionate and elegant pianist. Highly recommended for everyone!

Came here with a friend for Valentine's dinner. We ordered the bruschetta and both got the Wagyu (5oz) for dinner. Food was delicious, served quickly and tasted fresh and hot. Service was friendly, quick and not over bearing. They do have an outside patio space off the main road, so quiet and more personal. Dinner and appy was about 60$ per person. I would return here for lunch or dinner again. A nice date spot at a mid range price.

It was my birthday, so it had to be special. We had the open air patio to ourselves with the piano men playing at our side very romantic - service with Italian Christian was perfect. The portions the flavors, the ambiance were fantastic.We had cocktails, wine, bread, seafood, pasta, and selection of fungi. They were all superb. it. We finished with complementary tiramisu, and gelato and coffees. Total cost was $131. Absolutely amazing place for a special birthday dinner.

Came here for an early dinner on a Saturday night. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was good (but then we were the only table for quite some time). Definitely a hidden gem in the area.
