Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted dim sum or Hong Kong Cafe since they are separate dining areas. We chose dim sum. Service was subpar due to obvious newbie staff (received our neighboring table's food, had to follow up on missing items, etc). Same tasty dim sum as the old location but portions/dumplings are much smaller and pricier. Super busy unless you visit early morning and the huge parking lot (since Earl's is gone) is full with just the Happy Valley patrons.

Choose wisely... When you first enter this restaurant, they ask you if you want to choose the Chinese bbq/dim sum side or the HK cafe side. Apparently, they don't let you order from both menus - which is weird. Wish they would let you order from both menus regardless of where you sit.Our first visit was at the Chinese bbq side. The highlight of the meal was the clams in black bean sauce served in a heated mini wok. The sauce was so good! For the bbq skewers, the beef was nice and tender, pork belly was good, Malay satay chicken wasn't as spicy as we expected it to be. On the other side, the pineapple chicken was quite spicy with a numbing feeling that builds over time. Chicken wings were a bit salty. Overall, service was attentive on our first visit and we also got complimentary dessert of hot ginger and sweet potato with sago. Our second visit was for the same side but they serve dim sum during lunch time.Beef rice rolls were velvety smooth but the soy sauce that came with the dish was quite bland. The eggplant stuffed with shrimp paste wasn't bad but was presented differently than we usually see it and was served with a sweet chili sauce. Siu mai was ok - juicy but not a lot of flavor to it. Spring rolls had big plump shrimp pieces inside it. The chicken feet was tender but again, the sauce was weak and thin. We ordered the clams for dim sum but they weren't as good as the ones we had at dinner service (not served in a heated wok and seemed smaller).Overall, our first visit to their Chinese bbq side was better than their dim sum service/food. Still need to try their hk style cafe side.

Ordered 4 dishes at the Cafe side as the Dim Sum side was full. came around 11:00am and already were line-ups. Overly salty on Green Beans, and Squid. Had to wash the beans in a bowl of tea so that it was edible. The Crispy" Chow Mein wasn't. The S/S pork was ok but small serving. So not sure this was worth it."

Very interesting location (formerly occupied by Swiss Chalet) and is split into an HK cafe and a skewer place. I tried the HK cafe menu and the flavour and portion were above average. The beef ribs were done very well and the quality of the meat exceeded my expectation. I would visit again to try some other dishes.

The BBQ here is top notch. Flavourful and tasty food. Service was also very attentive. They kept cleaning up our finished sticks and kept the water full at all times. I’d definitely come back.

First time coming here, it was a little confusing as you are asked if you want to sit at the dim sum side or the cafe side. Kinda hard to decide when I haven't seen the menu yet. I tried out the cafe side.Menu had quite a bit of food but I later realized some of the things on one side repeats itself on the other side of the menu. The difference between the 2 sides of the menu are one side are combos, meaning it comes with a drink but the food portion is a bit smaller. The other side of the menu are a little more expensive, no drinks includes but the portion size is a bit bigger.I ordered the bigger portion of the shredded chicken crispy noodle. It was great! Noodle were crispy and tons of sauce. Portion size was filling.I wonder if I can get dim sum items even though I sat at the cafe side? I will find out next time.

Dim sum was delicious and portions were generous for the price. Highly recommend the dumplings, rice rolls and steamed chicken feet, spareribs and beef tendon! Despite the restaurant being newly opened and was packed at the time, service was friendly and relatively quick for soft opening

Couple weeks later I got to try their dim sums and was not disappointed. Lots of creative dishes and we tried a few.The deep fried oyster with minced pork and lotus root was very tasty. The shrimp spring roll with eel on top was good portion, crispy outside and very moist inside. Overall their seafood ingredients are fresh and of good quality. The only dessert I tried was the egg tarts but it’s not outstanding. Will try others like red bean pastry next time.Price wise this place is on the lower side of the scale but yet has the same or even better quality of food.As for service, it’s one of the best. I dropped my chopsticks and before I even asked, a waiter came to me with another pair. I asked him how he knew and he said he heard the sound of chopsticks hitting the tile floor. He must be observing the customers to see how he could help. Way to go. I was more than willing to pay 18% gratuity for this kind of service.I would highly recommend this place for dim sum.Authentic HK style cafe food. Fried beef and veggie rice noodles was tasty. Would be perfect if the sauce was thicker. Baked pork chop in tomato sauce was average. Pork chop was tender but sauce a bit too sour…would be perfect with more sugar. There was lots of onions and tomato chunks which is much better than frozen peas and corns that other places use. Food was quick to come and service was above average for Chinese food eateries. Overall I would give 4.5 stars if I could.
