Penske Truck Rental

I’ve used Eastern Penske to rent my trucks for my small moving company in Toronto! Chris provides exceptional customer service. Every time I go in, the trucks are cleaned and inspected thoroughly for any previous damage. He also gets the trucks out in a quick timely manner (compared to other rentals where you could be waiting 15-40 minutes). Would definitely recommend this penske!

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in Toronto when it comes to rental agencies. Corporate needs to come down and teach the bloke behind the counter to properly represent their brand.

More expensive than uHaul but at least you know you’re getting a truck at the location you want and when you actually need it. Trucks were in good shape too. Got two very different prices over the phone but they honoured the lower one. Would definitely use them again

If I ever need to rent a truck, Penske is my go-to. Their trucks are reliable and kept in good shape, and the guy who runs the Eastern location has been extremely helpful in reserving trucks for me. If he doesn't have what I'm looking for, he'll see if there are any available at other locations. I highly recommend this location! Great trucks, great service!

I’ve been working with Penske more so Chris out of Toronto for over the last month and couldn’t be happier with the service he’s provided and how quickly he will answer and get something done.I work in XM and most of our brand ambassadors need rentals and Chris is my go too!Highly recommend working with Chris and his team, the customer service is impeccable and they will go above and beyond.

I found this company one of the worst I ever have dealt with. The female manager of the Eastern Avenue location (name unknown) will not give a straight answer seems to know less about the truck we rented then we do or is purposely avoiding answering my questions with dieselconsumptions and issue with the gas gage . Very bad service, I do not recommend anyone to use this service my personal opinion of this company is a rating of 0/10. We ended up using this company because a time delay with another rental company . Next time we will deal with the delay rather then ever taking a chance with PENSKE. Do not give them your credit card will keep charging . This company logo should be OVERPROMISING and PROVIDING NO DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!PS Also was not advise vehicle needed to add DFL and was struck on side of highway! Disgusting........

The team at Penske Truck Rental (Eastern Avenue) is amazing. I have been renting from this location for over 10 years and with the transition in the past year (or so) to Penske trucks, it’s been the best move, ever. Everyone who sees me now with a Penske versus competitors (Uhaul) remark on the vehicles and are nothing but impressed by these trucks (I get asked all the time how they are & all things I have to say are nothing but extremely positive). I am happy to be working with this group and renting these amazing vehicles. My colleagues/clients are super impressed I have gone in this direction of renting a higher end cargo vehicle. 100% worth it.The trucks are awesome to drive, clean, and I love that you can fully stand up in the back of the cabin (Sprinter Van) so it’s not hard on your back (in regular cargo vans I’ve had to hunch over, which takes its toll on your lower back after a few minutes; this makes moves challenging for me). Roomy, spacious, smooth drive. Comfortable seats. Penske is my go-to, hands down, and this location fits the bill.The team as well as the front desk is amazing, professional and extremely thorough. I feel that the service was far above and beyond any other rental agency that I have used (I have been renting Sprinter/Cargo vans and 10-14’ trucks for 12+ years, on a very regular basis, so am very familiar with all of the agencies out there). Highly recommend this location as the service is spot on and they have always been helpful in accommodating last minute requests. A+ all around.

Showed up to pick up my 16ft moving truck the morning of my move and they only had small vans and didn’t bother to call me to let me know before ubering across the city. Now scrambling to find a new truck 10 mins before our elevator is booked to move.

Scammers!!! Watch out for them. First off talked to a representative to pick up my truck there. Then in the system it told me to go somewhere else. Luckily/unluckily they scammed me after with what I thought was only a $50 upgrade to a bigger truck. They took a deposit from me of $750, not only did they not return me my money. They also charged me a extra $200+. Make sure if your contract says your truck is full it matches on your agreement. Do not go with these guys. Uhaul is 100% better. You've been warned.
