Maeven Chef

We had a birthday dinner for my mother for 11 people and Chef Marijke was just wonderful from beginning to end. The food was delicious and she served everything and cleaned up with such grace and calm that the evening was an effortless pleasure for us. My mom also enjoyed talking food with her while she was prepping. The cost was very reasonable as well. We will be calling her again for sure!

The food was so delicious and the evening was flawless. It was luxury to be able to enjoy the company of friends without timers going off and having to pop in and out of conversations. Our guests had some food sensitivities which were easily managed and led to an exciting new-to-me menu and a new love for roasted celariac. Everyone was well fed, well looked after, and very happy.

Chef Marijke was professional from my first contact with her and made my dinner party a huge success. She was attentive, and made everything come together seamlessly. She overdelivers. It was such a memorable evening to make my mothers birthday special and will be talked about for a long time. I cannot wait to need her services again and am positive I will be passing on her name to anyone who will listen.

I can't say enough good things about Maeven Chef. Marijke and her team are fantastic. We have been using their meal prep services for several months now. Each week our chef, Jack, prepares a week's worth of dinners, lunches, breakfasts and snacks. The meals are absolutely fantastic - healthy, flavorful and lots of variety. I would highly recommend Maeven Chef.

I was lucky enough to attend a dinner party on the weekend, catered by the MaevanChef, the food and presentation was absolutely exquisite. Chef Marijke, was professional, efficient and a pleasure to speak to, she knows her stuff and is happy to share her knowledge and answer any questions you may have in regards to the menu or simply about cooking. I would highly recommend her.

Maeven Chef provided the perfect touch to our evening dinner gathering. I was able to give our guests my full attention, while Maeven Chef took care of the meal. The whole experience was amazing. It was like being out at a restaurant, but in the comfort of your own home. Each dish was delicious and presentation was on point! Maeven Chef worked in my kitchen with ease finding everything she needed. And clean up was taken care of too! I would highly recommend Maeven Chef, food and service was perfection!

Wonderful meal for our party (20 people) from this professional chef. Maeven Chef prepared three courses (Appetizers, Salad and Main) with wine pairing recommendations. Turn-key service was executed flawlessly from menu planning, home visit, grocery shopping and cooking in our kitchen (which was left clean and tidy). All of the dishes were amazing. Exceeded our high expectations. Our guests had a great time.

If I can give more stars for Marijke, I would!.. for less than 2 weeks notice to prepare a private dinner for 20, she was amazing with her menu selection, portions and grocery list.DAY OF, Marijke arrived with plenty of time to prepare, kept the kitchen clean (considering the guests were in her space!), created amazing dishes that over exceeded everyone's expectations and was very personable and professional throughout the evening.We're already thinking of the next occasion we can use her services and have already recommended to our friends, busy Mom's and family to consider her for their next meal prep and/or function.Marijke, THANK YOU for making my birthday a memorable one and keeping me out of my own kitchen!MJ + JM

This company approached me and we did a trial for family batch-cooking meals. Food was good. I paid on time and thanked them. We wanted to hire them again, but don't seem interested (emails not returned, not reaching out to rebook, won’t pick up the equipment they left here).

Marijke has been a life saver for our family. Eating well balanced meals is important to us, but juggling careers and family responsibilities leaves little time for cooking on a daily basis. Each week I know there will be a few nutritious and delicious meals in the fridge that Marijke has prepared, according to our predetermined preferences. I was skeptical at first about potential costs, but this has proven to be much more economical than I imagined it would be. Everyone in my family of somewhat picky eaters is happy!
