I've been trying to make a court date for over a year. You ever open

Had a ticket I forgot to pay only $65 and instead of sending me a letter to remind me or even allowing me to pay when I renewed my plates I get a letter a week after they had my license suspended. Have to pay an extra $200 to reinstate because no one could do their job and send a letter

The judge my friends had for their adoption process was very good with the words he spoke to the children before signing the papers

This used to be an office for assistance & support to our local citizens. After my last experience seeing good people having desperate moments leaving the window in pure frustration I had to do this review. I asked for assistance, I couldn't get a lawyer. Did the office tell me about the Lawyer referral service? No. Was that there job? Yes. Was that there only job? Possibly. Assistance? The guy in front of me who had gotten ill & could pay his bills, how did you help him? Poor guy, a sixty year old leaving crying, you should be so proud. I found this office is no longer in place to help the citizens of Oxford county. They get paid wether they do there job or not & it shows. As for justice at this Court, I have my doubts about that as well.It's just easier to railroad people & you still get paid.

The courts in Ontario are effectively closed until further notice due to Covid19

people wake up do not wear masks when going here this wont stop unless we stop it so dont were masks and if they dont let you in then thats there problem you showed up for court and they wont let you in the woodstock police are nice and do there job as long as your not a white straight male if you are they do nothing for you

Great architecture, cool monkeys in the stone work, really neat court rooms, secure area for the transport of criminals. The chairs for watching proceedings are old and very uncomfortable, especially on days that run from 9 through until 5. Fairly easy to get up and takes breaks. The main court room has a glass enclosure to keep the defendant secure from both escaping and being lynched by possible on-lookers.

I called ahead and went in to get a document sworn and was met by the most unprofessional, unhelpful, and rude service I have ever experienced in my life.The family court clerk was either uninformed about being able to get an affidavit sworn at any location or was lying.When I asked her to please give me pointers so that I could get my documents filed, she told me to call London to get the help I needed since that was where I had originally filed.I am only giving this one star because I ended up getting it signed but first had to be subject to her rudeness and abuse of power.
