I've been a long time client of Chantell's and I have to say that I'm never disappointed in the service. I always walk out happy and she's just an awesome person. Highly recommend her and the Ten Spot in Leslieville!

That was my first time trying this salon brand. Well, pictures speak to themselves. Smudging aside, the quality of the nail polish application is relatively poor - highlighted the details that don’t look professional to me - uneven zigzag application near the cuticle, a large gap between where nail polish starts and the cuticle. There were many bubbles on the surface too. This can’t be a 70$ pedicure. I want my money back.Update: I got my money back, thank you! I was offered to come back to re-do my pedicure, which I declined, though thanks for the offer.

Staff were very nice but the nail polish peeled right off 4 days later and had to go to another salon to get it redone

I decided to book at this Tenspot location for my sister's bachelorette party as I wanted our first gel manis to be at a place that was clean and had great google reviews. There was definitely a clean feel to the place and very well ventilated as I wasn't able to smell any polish fumes. The staff were all very friendly, polite and smiled. We loved that they offered us drinks! We didn't feel rushed choosing our colours, and they even accommodated for one of our party members who was late as she accidentally went to another location.I decided to write this review a couple weeks after the gel mani to see if it would last. I was careful for the first few days and realized it didn't chip as easily as I thought. I'm impressed that the polish is still shiny with only slight chipping after 2 weeks, all thanks to my nail tech who was so attentive to detail. One of our other friends even went a few days later with her mom for gel manis because of our recommendation.I'm unsure what happened with the gel mani for one of our party members as her gel mani chipped the next day, which was a bummer because the rest of us had a great experience. She felt her nail tech rushed in the polish and didn't seal the tips of her nails. She ended up going somewhere else to get a new gel mani as she didn't want to go back to Tenspot to get it fixed.I felt pampered by the staff at this Tenspot and I would definitely go back for more manis if I have any special occasions to get dolled up for!!

I was really disappointed with the quality of my manicure. Within a few days, my shellac starting lifting. I couldn’t go back due to travel so was kinda just stuck with it. It seems like they flooded the nail with too much polish close to the cuticle. I knew I was paying a premium at the Ten Spot and didn’t mind because I thought I was paying for quality. $80 for a shellac manicure that can’t last a week is silly.

Had a fun pedi with my daughter. Definitely will go back again with her. The staff were very welcoming.

My manicure chipped after two days. When I went in to talk to them about it the technician wouldn’t acknowledge me and would only speak with the receptionist to reschedule. When I went in for the appointment I was not greeted by anyone, including my technician who saw me coming in. All my nails needed to be redone and they refused to let me choose another color. They told me it was against policy because people abuse this. I was made to feel that I did this on purpose to get a free manicure which was not the case. The technician was the same women who did the original manicure. She has done majority or my manicures as well as my laser hair removal. However she would not speak to me at all when I had questions about the policy and went as far as ignoring me to the point of having to say “hello?”.I actually stopped going here after an incident where they canceled a friends appoint and not mine when we were going for manicures together. They canceled a couple hours before the appointment and I explained to them that we had a wedding the next day. They were not helpful and only offered 15% off my next visit. But I still tried to give them another chance.I think I’m a reasonable person and did not go in trying to create any conflict just resolve the issue. This is not the first time I have been disappointed by them. But it seems they care more about their policy then what is logical.

Got all my laser done here, amazing results. The Ashley's are both so great and very efficient.
