We were searching for authentic hand slaughtered Zabiha Halal food options in the Metro Vancouver area and this restaurant was recommended by some locals.Note: this is in Surrey and definitely not Persian or Mediterranean cuisineThis is Pakistani style cuisine....average quality, but seems to be quite popular and busy.Generally Google Maps takes you to the other side of the restaurant....they have more parking available on the far side.We triedChicken Reshmi Kabab ...goodChicken Biryani ...below average but I compared it to real authentic Hyderabadi BiryaniFried fish pakoras.....goodChana Bhatura...below averageCrispy fried chicken ....actually goodGoat Karahi...averageBurgers....average

Amazing food. My third time there and I love it. Mediterranean garlic is on point. However they are understaffed and only have one person running the front and one person in the kitchen. It was busy and people were waiting a long time. You should look into hiring a few more people.

Thanks Mr. Rushd for addressing the complain of missing item in a Uber Eats delivery order.As you have already acknowledged the missing item issue and agreed to give me a credit for a lamb biryani, I am happy to close the complain.Also sent you a thank you email today (20 February, 2023)**Uber notified me they can’t refund and suggested me to notify Gulberg through rating option from Uber app. I actually notified that way and also sent a follow up email on February 11, 2023 after your reply and still waiting for the response from Gulberg.***I called three times about a missing item and finally able to talk with the manager. He took details of the order and agreed to call back afterwards with a solution. It’s already 24 hours but nobody from the restaurant called me back. I also sent email once but no response there too. Are you trying to get away from the issue by ignoring the customer complain.Yes, you can. But the same time you are also loosing a customer who experienced a problem on his third order to the restaurant and never got the solution despite communicating with the restaurant manager.

My friend took me to this desi place for lunch. We ordered Shami kabab, steamed chicken and palak paneer. Steamed chicken and Shami kabab was good, palak paneer was ok too but wasn’t fresh. Tandoori roti had a very good taste.

I don’t know what’s wrong with the owners, they missed the plot completely from being a 4/5 star restaurant, they are now struggling to even maintain a single star. The lesser said about the food the better but I have to leave comments for others to see before they decide to eat here.1 biryani - the rice was dry and hard, probably simmering over heat for a long time2. Chicken Karahi - No flavour and spicy3 Paya - no flavour and watery4. Fish pakoras - dry and stale5. Nihari - probably the only saving grace, since it was the last plate the restaurant had so there wasn’t much left to talk about.I wouldn’t give it even a single star but there was no option. I had been a regular and decided to after a gap of a year and boy they did disappoint me. Infact most of my friends suggested I stay away but I’m an optimist and this time I would definitely suggest, stay away unless they make some serious changes.

The washroom is very substandard.I just get a dirty feeling about here whenever I use the washroom but food is A+The toilet is tilted towards the wallThe sink has a screw going through the tap to turn it onSeeing this makes me doubt their cleanliness in the kitchenWhy cant we have south asian restaurants with good hygiene? Ew!!

We ordered online Fish Pakoras, Chicken Biriyani, Shami Kebab Platter and Beef Nihari. Only Beef Nihari made it up to the mark. Rest of the items were below average taste wise and presentation wise.Fish Pakoras were too salty and few of them were only fried batters, no fish inside!! Chicken Biriyani had two bones and one small meat piece. And the biriyani didn't look appetizing at all. The Shami Kebab Platter was the most disgusting looking dish. I think the photo says it all. However Kebab Taste was ok, I believe they can make it better.

Beef Haleem was not hand mashed it was very fine in consistency, ideally it should be hand mashed, and wasn’t seasoned properly. The quantity of Lamb Biryani was not enough, the Qeema Samosai and Tandoori Roti were really good.
