Hey everyone, stay away from broad street properties apartment specially from 2475 Main St. I used to live there 1 year . The manager lady Mel is so mean and so rude . Secondly inspector do pre inspection and rent out inspection wrongly .Firstly he say that we r concerning about major damage & after he charge u for minor even decolr of countertop. Broad street property apt do upgradation of apt with tenant damage deposit money . So be careful while do inspection. Take pics of apt before move on & before move out . Mel did move out inspection on Jan 31 but worst thing was that worker were working in apt before jan31.They put charge on me $2000 for just washroom counter top color change .i have not done any damage & even left apt clean .but fortunately I have pics of the move in inspection . Now I m taking those pics in court . I file a case against them & I hope I will won bcz tenant is not responsible for apt upgradation . Apt are very noisy and have older electric heat .At last I want to say there are many other apartments like villagio nice staff . Never rent with broad street properties specially Riverbend 2475....2471 main st . Stay away from Mel .she is so mean & do discrimination. , thanks .

Bed bugs!Unit HAD to be sprayed because of ONE bed bug found in unit below. It took us 16 hours to set the apartment up because we were FORCED to pack ALL fabrics, clothes, remove all the electrical covers for the whole unit, put ALL furniture in the center of each room, and sit in the apartment, on a business day, waiting for pest control to arrive. Furniture was sprayed and consequently stained.What do we get from management? Nothing, not a sorry to put your life on hold for days"

We have been living here for about a year. I would just like to say how much we enjoy the lifestyle in Sage Creek. We are close to all amenities,5 min drive to most shopping and restaurants in the area, biking and walking path that connects to paths into the city.The buildings are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and professional , always there to help.

Having moved from IvyTrails building in Winnipeg to East Concordia Landing takes some getting used to. Apart from the fact that the appliances are old, everything in the apartment just feels old in comparison. Anyway, I am writing this review because I am not pleased with the service. I have reported that my dishwasher has stopped working a week now and no one cares to address this. The last time I spoke to someone at the office, when I asked how soon someone will come and look at it, the response was 'maybe next week'. I am not used to this at all. Where I was coming from, things like this got addressed right away. Please work on your maintenance requests faster as this is extremely unacceptable.

Riverbend Area.... Great location, quiet area although there is a highschool. The cleaning staff are nice but the manager is rude. They don't bother taking their shoes off when coming in the apartments for checkups and fixing. Checkups are almost every month, 5-6 people coming in the apartment with shoes on, they don't always take them off if you ask, especially the manager. Our suite is not pet friendly, we are allergic to fur. The manager accused us twice of having let a dog in our apartment, there has never been a dog in our apartment. Also we have issues with the stove, they fix it but it breaks again a couple of days later. This has happened countless times and they don't replace the appliance.

Dealing with rude and noisey neighbors since April 2018. Management has obviously not given them any notices because they constantly make noise. There is so much jumping that everything in my unit ratlles floors vibrate from their pounding. They will tell you if you call oh so sorry this is happening. Just call us and report it.... Yes everyday but nothing is done. They need to deal with these tenants!

Lived for less than a year and I will be moving to a nicer place for less, I recommended this company at first but my opinion drastically changed. Unorganised, constant false notices. Miss work for them to enter the suite and no one ever shows... when i ask why they say it's for a totally different building and address, rent is too high for the quality of material in suites.Price for parking stall or even a second stall is criminal. Ordered a new door 5 months ago still haven't received. Constant annoying notices and parking audits.Only good thing I have to say is they maintain the complex, hallways and stairs.

Broadstreet is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Nothing building related all management related. We were told by broadstreet management we would be refunded for half a months rent because they sublet our apartment. They forced us out early as we would have taken our time moving since we thought we had until the end of the month. Our families took the days off work to help us move in a hurry. Upon moving and realizing our refund had not arrived we asked about it. The manager said it was conditional on the family moving in. So my question is why did we have to have our keys in on the 16th when we paid until the 30th? Every person at broadstreet agrees with our case yet our calls are never returned. This is a horrible company

I am overall pleased with this place and the longer I stay here the better I am impressed. Firstly some things you dont expect. A 6 months inspection when all your concerns are examined and repairs if necessary booked. I lived in a Condo unit previously 1 of 48. 6 months after moving in the above condos jacuzzi started to leak into my Bathroom ceiling and caused black mold on the Stainless steel grab bars and tiled wall . Board inspection decided it was spray from my shower and did nothing. Eventually had to take out the ceiling and replace. The inside was all covered in mold and the leak identified. None of the Jacuzzi connections had been sealed. Still havent been paid.Quiet..perhaps because .i rent the top floor. That prev. condo was concrete construction yet i could hear every telephone conversation of the floor above me.The manager is primarily a sales person. For repairs or issues i learned quickly to contact the 800 number that Broadstreet gives you. Results are excellent.Courtesy Excellent. I am in River Meadows and the Manager and staff and repair person are exceptionally polite. However for action or results contact the 800 numberUp to One weeks notice and at least 24 hours notice for inspections and repairs is excellent.As someone who has paid the bills for parking lot clearance Elsewhere I am more than impressed by how quickly they cleared after our recent snowfall (next day) and compared to downtown these stall prices are a steal.I am retired so I am here all day. I am near the elevators so I hear the people in the hall. Definitely as good as the exclusive Condo I used to live in. Perhaps I am fortunate that a lot of older people live in this building but the noise level is modest. And its nice to hear a little dog squeal every once in a while.It is Pet friendly and noted for that. With Doggie poop bags strategically placed at allthe exits. I am also directly connected to the cities largest urban forest pathway connections on the seine river. This past spring we were fortunate to share that pathway to a doe who gave birth to twin bambis. So far not a lot of skunks which were common on the Red River adjacent to my condo. Also no roaring speed boats that loved to cruise the Red River at Midnight. We do however have a train track a few hundred meters away on the other side of the river and forest and I love the sound. Others may not. We also have the Perimeter Highway which can bear traffic noise on a warm summer evening.Bus service is literally outside the door. While not the best on weekends it does take you to St Vital Mall. Better service about .5 km north. Across from the local mall and Extra Foods Grocery outlet, Shoppers Drug, LC, Ultra Cuts etc. QWeekday bus to University of Manitoba.This is part of a major operation in our city and they have the advantage of many of their own tradesman when it comes to maintenance and repairs. Apparent Maintenance of the building and equipment, and this one is 10 years old is excellent.The price is a little high for regular 1 and 2 year leases but you seldom get the whole package for much less and I have checked.

fyi 406-1340 Concordia East-This is how Broadstreet Properties treats the elderly. They charge a 1200 dollars deposit to live there with a pet. 3 1/2 years later after paying their rent on time every month, parents go to a nursing home and Broadstreet Properties refuses to return the deposit, they want another 600 dollars for damages on top of the 1200. We hired professional cleaners recommended by Broadstreet Properties, they did a great job, it cost almost 500 dollars, my parents did not smoke or party in their apartment. Shame on leasing properties that take advantage of our seniors that way. zero stars but it made me pick one to post
