Split a set of high tea with a friend. The food items were beautiful and tasty. It’s not your traditional high tea, so if you’re looking for scones and cucumber sandwiches this isn’t the place for you.I got both an espresso and pot of tea. For some reason they charged me for both, when I was under the impression the tea pot was included (it was, but instead they charged +$2.50 for an espresso shot and $4.00 for a teapot instead of including the tea and just charging for espresso). The espresso and tea are both $4.50 so I don’t understand why I was even charged a premium in the first place.Servers said they would refill teapots with hot water, and came by 20 minutes later with it. Service could’ve been better.3/5 because it photographs well and tastes nice. Would be 5/5 if the pricing made more sense in my case, & servers were on top of refilling teapots for high tea…

In the few times I’ve been here, I only remember the interior and ambience - the food, not so much. Not to say that it is poor quality or taste, I’d say you’re paying moreso for the ambience than the food. However, I would recommend their drinks, refreshing and tasty.

It is our must-go-to place when we are visiting the gallery or happen to be in downtown. The lemongrass chicken croissant was so delicious! The bison burger was a staple. By the way, there used to be quite a few planters on the patio packed with seasonal flowers and plants. Miss the garden feel.

Came here for dineout, severs were very friendly and nice! Ambiance was very nice, seems like a nice place to come here to catch up with friends.Food just felt a little overpriced for what it was. Nothing stood out but still tasted good!

This little bistro that's located inside the Vancouver Art Gallery is lovely for lunch. Inside used to be more cafeteria style, but they changed it to a sit and order type of place. In the summer, sit outside on the covered patio to enjoy your meal with drinks. Yes, they have alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.I had the kale Caesar salad and added steak. It was delicious.

We ordered high tea, and the taste was fantastic! The composition of the desserts was very good too. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is actually a bit like a food court, so i think it's not a good place to date.. but everything else is perfect. Highly recommend!

Food is okay, but expensive and service is lousy. They need more servers.I ordered a beer and it was sitting at the bar for 10 minutes. The old man server forgot about my drink. I stared at it for a while and finally decided to go serve myself (predecessor was semi-self serve anyway).I ordered a $25 tuna burger, but the tuna meat was 2” thick, not a handheld burger. My stomach didn’t feel right after filling with the tuna meat (freshness?).They still expect a min of 18% tips at the end. I’m going to stay away from this place.

Went for lunch after walking around the interesting and cool current exhibits. The terrace is a nice seating experienceWhile the food was decent, I’d say there are better options for the price point in the immediate neighbourhood.Ordered the bahn mi croissant, tuna burger & the pesto & prawn flatbread. The tuna burger was the highlight out of the 3 entrees

This restaurant is located inside the Art Gallery! It has an indoor dining room and a lovely terrace with low tables and sofas or high tables with chairs! The terrace has an awning so you don't get direct sun! We loved it. The food and drink menu is limited but good, burgers, salads... we will be back! In the picture below you will find the tuna burger!

Excellent place for brunch in heart of Downtown Vancouver. Quite and peaceful place in the center of town. Steps from all the shops and fashion districts.
