Jake McNulty Golf

Working with Jake has mad a major impact in my golf swing. I used an online platform which can be challenging, but he made the process easy to navigate and offered great personalized feedback and drills to help improve my swing. Jake McNulty changed my golf swing in two lessons. It took me two lessons to see that Jake knew what he was coaching me in order to improve my results. I am amazed how much farther I can hit the ball. My handicap dropped from a 27 to an 18. I am on my 5th lesson and I am totally excited about the tremendous improvement in my golf. Jake is professional, patient and demanding at the same time. I recommend Jake as a great golf teaching professional.

Jake has been helping me with short game work this summer. He has taught me many principles on this part of the game. We have studied chipping, pitching, the sand game and putting. Jake has a pleasant and professional way of imparting knowledge. He challenges you to work hard but makes the journey fun. The video follow up is invaluable. This review is on behalf of the Junior and Adult Lean to Play programs with Jake. The Junior program has triggered a love for the game of golf for my daughter. The lessons build confidence and resilience. The games Jake goes through are fun and motivating. I joined the Adult Learn to Play and came in with zero knowledge of the game. Jake and his team always take the time to personalize things for you and to keep you motivated and engaged. Overall I recommend both programs to anyone and especially for families. Jake even helped us find clubs to get our youngest started involved in the game before she’s of age for the JLTP. It has been great to have something my daughter and I are learning, practising and growing together with. Thank you a million thank yous Jake! Looking forward to seeing you again next year.

My daughter absolutely loves the Junior Learn to Play program at Oak Gables. Jake has developed a wonderful program that gets your junior off the driving range and onto the course. By actually playing the course and progressing through the different levels, your junior not only develops key golf skills but builds confidence from their accomplishments. Jake is a wonderful instructor and a wonderful mentor. If you want your junior to develop a love for golf, then this is the program to sign up for !!

Jake is absolutely fantastic at teaching golf fundamentals without getting bogged down in unimportant details. He's shaved 9 strokes off my game within two months of his first lesson. Would recommend him to anyone.

Jake has been an excellent golf professional to work with. His interest is in really making a difference in your game, so he wants to work with you several times a month on a particular part of your game. When learning a new skill, he takes you through a series of progressions until you have it. He communicates how to perform an activity very well but if you can’t get it , he will adapt with another idea . He uses video feedback to show how you are progressing and as a takeaway reminder of what to work on during your practice sessions. And he expects you to practice in between lessons!!! I really enjoy working with Jake. Not only is he a great teacher but also lots of fun to work with!!!

I joined Jake's Adult Learn to Play program at Oak Gables and have seen such an improvement with my short game and confidence and am only half way through the program. I have taken lessons once before and didn't enjoy it like I am now. The structure of the program is that you learn the skills in fun, engaging classes and then get to apply those skills in actual games with the support of the instructors. The best part of the games is that you initially start close to the hole and gradually get further away based on your skill level. I find this way of learning motivates me to want to practice. Jake is professional, fun, and seems to have a clear understanding of how to help beginner golfers to learn the game, etiquette and skills they need to be able to enjoy the game of golf.

I joined Oshawa Golf and Curling Club as a complete novice on the Learn to Golf membership. I had three lessons with Jake and my swing is transformed completely. The slow motion videos Jake took of my swing with his commentary and suggestions on it really help when I'm reviewing what I was doing wrong and what I need to concentrate on to fix my mistakes. I'll definitely be getting more lessons with him.

Joined the Adult Learn to Play Semester 1- I am a novice looking to learn and develop golf skills. The program is brilliant: fun and engaging weekly group instruction AND the opportunity to use those skills in actual games. Jake is professional and patient and understands what novice golfers need.
