Good service and delicious seafood, what more can you ask! We ordered the Fishermen’s Platter (90$) which came with octopus, scallop, shrimp, calamari and mussels. It was gigantic and more than enough for 2 people. The texture of each item was cooked perfectly. The music was really loud (the windows were vibrating from the bass), maybe it was because they had a party going on in the private section. However I think it added an exotic touch to the character of the restaurant. Just an FYI to people looking to have a quiet dinner.

We went for my nephew's baptism. The staff happily offered to set up the sweet table. The service was amazing and fast. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. One of my favorite appetizers is the cheese roll! I could eat solémer's cheese rolls every day. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We came to Montreal from NY to visit friends, we stopped at Solemer to eat lunch, it’s the best Lebanese food we ever had. We felt like we are in Lebanon, friendly staff, delicious food and very fair prices. We can’t wait to go back!Don’t forget to order dessert and try their Lebanese wine!

Nice for a light lunch. Got the grilled sea bass and was pleasantly surprised at how they managed to balance out such light flavours. Also really enjoyed the fattoush salad. As for the service and ambiance I’d say they were relatively standard. The restaurant’s setting is more on the fancy side. 7/10

Visited for a nice seafood dinner and it was amazing! Reminded me of all the yummy seafood restaurants in Beirut. The ambiance is classy, the appetizers were spot on (warak enab, tabbouleh, cheese rolls so good). The fish (grilled and fried) were so good, authentic Lebanese taste! Price wise very reasonable honestly for having a fish dinner. We paid much less than when we go for dinner at Lylac or Beroya for example.. so it’s very moderately priced for yummy and good quality food. Service was also perfect and fast enough to enjoy :)!

Sayadeye: The fish fillet is clean fresh and buttery. The batter is light not overwhelming. Black rice is perfectly seasoned with 7 spices to taste.Didn’t like the default sauce that came with , I recommend tarator instead if they offer.
