First time getting my hair done in 4 years. The receptionist was warm, and inviting. My hair stylist Stéphane was incredible. I have extremely thick, long hair. He washed, cut, and blow dried my hair within an hour, and it was exactly what I wanted. Amazing experience. Very grateful!

Shaina was incredible! If you’re looking for a great service and cut I’d recommend to go with her. She went above and beyond for me while not even knowing me, contacted me as soon as there was a cancellation for my last minute hair cut before traveling. A+ customer service and great communication. I was visiting family in Montreal as an exMontrealer. I walked into the salon on Saturday to make an appointment. I described I had long hair and do not want any styling only a cut and blowdry. What was the price? The receptionist gave me two vague pricing with which level of stylist I preferred. I chose junior level with confidence. I asked if there was any other hidden costs to make an earmark of how much the service will cost me including the tip. None further was mentioned. This is an exchange with the receptionist and not a stylist making the appointment. She saw my hair and I explained all that I needed. I was able to get an appointment for that Monday.I loved the service from beginning to end. The stylist was friendly and professional. She brushed my tangled long hair and performed a wonderful cut. I was happy.The bill came to $116. I purchased a $19 detangling brush. I do live in Europe and my hair costs 20 to 30 euros for the exact same cut and blowdry, yet I am aware the expectations of living in Canada prices. There was an added $15 for extra time because my hair was long. I did not tip because when I came into the salon and asked all prices there was no mention of $15 for added time and I did not have an extra 20% for a tip. the appointment was 45 mins. I would have gone to another salon that would be within my budget if all prices were transparent.The stylist did a wonderful job and I do not like being put in a position of guilt that I did not tip. Canada needs to let go of the tip instead of exploiting workers, pay a living wage please. I live in Europe and left Canada for this exact scenario. I loved the salon but money divides us.

I never leave reviews but I had to this time. I’ve been going here for about three years to get my roots bleached and in the beginning it was great. But lately I’m not sure what’s going on, the quality has been getting worse. I kept noticing patches of my roots not bleached properly but I hoped that it would get better. It didn’t. I suppose that’s my fault for not speaking up, but still. I expected more.Apparently today they didn’t have the right bleach for me but Hélène still tried to do my hair. I would have preferred to just reschedule if that’s the case. I’m very disappointed with the results. I did appreciate that she stayed after closing to bleach again, however she only made sure the very front of my head looked okay at best. The back of my head is still terrible, it will not take the dye I usually put on it. I understand sometimes mistakes happen, but this is unacceptable to me. I kept getting told it looks fine and the dye will work. Didn’t appreciate that, especially after I got a good look at it when I got home.I never cry when my hair goes wrong, but I did today. I will not be going back.

That’s the place to go in ouest island. They just moved and the new location is amazing. Very friendly staff (there is only one rude receptionist), they accept baby/kids during your appointment. No kidding! I went with my son (7 months old) for an esthetic service and it was 100% fine! Suzy worked around the baby who was playing on the floor. Prices are good as well, allowing you to come on a regular basis.

Amazing experience with Kareen! I’ve never had such a meticulous hairdresser! She took her time and really made sure I loved my look - which I do!!! I cant wait to come back for my next cut! Super affordable, too!

I rarely leave reviews but have now had several experiences at the salon. I primarily go for esthetic services. The quality of service was much higher a few years ago. In the past few months, I went to get a gel manicure twice. Both times, my manicure only lasted a day of two. I did not do any activities that could shorten the reasonable life span of a manicure (ex : washing or scrubbing or peeling things). I think that they may not be making quality products available to their staff, or replacing them in a timely manner. Anyhow, I assume most people would be disappointed to have a mani that lasts less than a handful of days, so I would advise exploring one of the many other salons of the neighborhood.

I had the most amazing experience with Shaina! During our consultation she was fully transparent about the cost and the process, which was very important to me. Today I got my balayage done and I am beyond thrilled with the results. She was also super kind, fun and professional. She created a wonderful atmosphere and was very reassuring every step of the way. I left the salon feeling beautiful and confident. Thank you Shaina ♥️
