I purchased a Tuck and Roll in June 2014, the plastic buckle broke for the second time in winter 2020. I asked YNOT to ship me a replacement buckle, as they did 2 years ago when it broke for the first time. YNOT asked me to pay $4+10 for shipping and tax, or ''if you feel adventures you can find these parts at MEC or sewing supply shops''.I expressed my disappointment since the backpack has life time warranty, and a replacement was shipped to me for free in the past, YNOT's response was ''The backpack does have a lifetime warranty but it only covers the general construction of the bag such as sewing, binding, straps. It does not cover normal wear and tear which the buckle falls under'', and ''the previous sales rep from then was probably not aware of how our warranty works.If a buckle keeps breaking perhaps YNOT should not use low quality parts and invade their life time warranty. The sales rep's attitude was hasty, unfriendly and unhelpful.I will never purchase an other YNOT product again. YNOT? because the above mentioned reasons.

I recently visited the shop and was greeted by Mario. He took the time to explain to me the difference between wax canvas and the ballistic nylon material and was very patient and friendly. I asked about key chains, and he said although he didn't have any in stock at the moment, if I waited 10mins and he could make one for me right there on the spot; now that's customer service! I got the Drift sling bag and will definitely be coming back for the Viken duffel. Definitely worth 5/5 stars

Junk products. Purchased YNOT Pedal Straps After Dark (black reflective) 60 € and made in Canada, but a seam is completely missing, making the product unusable. Well-made seams are the basis for having safe straps, in these they are even absent, high-cost junk product!

I have a rucksack and a few accessories which I purchased from their (now closed) Queen Street location, and I've subsequently bought their bags as gifts for other people. I use my rucksack pretty hard (groceries, commuting, travel), and it's holding up really well- only just starting to show signs of wear and tear after a few years of heavy use. I'm hoping they'll be able to repair it when something does finally wear out, but I'd happily replace it with a new one if not, as I've definitely got my money's worth at this point.Update: I did indeed need a minor repair to my rucksack (part of the chest strap broke), and they fixed it on the spot. I ended up buying an organiser insert as well, which now goes with me pretty much everywhere. I also recently overheard a former Ynot employee talking with someone while in line somewhere, and while I was trying not to eavesdrop I did get the impression that it's a decent place to work at, which is reassuring.

Amazing service and product! Highly recommended. Recently bought the Wildland backpack and it looks like it will last an extremely long time. I love the features, sturdiness and the design/style of the bag. I wanted to visit in person to see how the bag fits, and compare models, and to my surprise I was also given a discount, so I also recommend visiting them if possible. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Absolutely terrible customer experience.Bought a backpack that has open pockets on the side which fill with water while biking. When asked if there is a modification that can be made to cover the pockets the response was: “there is nothing I can do” over and over.For a shop that touts itself as a custom, bespoke & local. It does not do anything to act as such.

Great bags and great customer service. I bought a YNOT bag 5+ years ago and had a part on it that needed replacement - even though they don't stock it on their website anymore, they still had the part and were able to send me a replacement (and extras!) at no cost. The bag has been very durable with daily use for the many years I've owned it. Highly recommended!

Cool open space, Kevin greeted me as soon as I came in the door and was super helpful. They had the product in stock (as the website claimed)My partner and I have many of their products in rotation. My main commuter bag is a 7 year old Junction that doesn't show it.

Love my Magnetica After Dark bag!!! Smart product design from the magnetic clips to the super comfortable straps, even for a woman's chest! Seriously, I'm so happy I found this bag to carry to computer and gear to work as well as bike with it. Love, love, love it.
