Paarens Beach Provincial Park
Nice beach. Public campgrounds were nice and clean. Playground available. Boat launch is a bit shallow but workable.

Beautiful park! The beach was great. Most of the sites arent on the beach. Loved spending the afternoon here.

Paarens Beach Provincial Park
Paarens is a great beach just outside of Fort St James. The beach stretches for ~1 km and is ~30 meters wide. Stuart Lake is beautiful and larger than Okanagan Lake, but with less boats. The combination of these two lends to a great place to suntan, paddleboard, swim, or play with the kids.

We come every year . Usually for our anniversary.. It’s just the best !! It’s meticulously kept up to perfection!!The staff go above and beyond for you !!Good job , great place , totally a great time had here!!

Paarens Beach Provincial Park
I was here for the weekend. The campsites are close to beach, there's good coverage with vegetation, and a newish playground for kids. Our nights weren't great though. On Saturday, one of the sites had a raging party. The campsite never closed the gates, so party goers were coming and going all night (driving drunk). Then, on Sunday, there was a wedding on the far end of the lake, and you could hear the music 0lain as day until 2 in the morning.
