Your best bet is to avoid Barrie . The lake is turning to a joke it's being surrounded by high rises and construction on things that don't need it as oppose to things that do . Best bet is go to Orillia or Wasaga beach . Avoid Barrie waterfront it's a joke

Nice park for relaxing with the family, great views, nice boardwalk, biking. Only drawback is parking is quite expensive….. be prepared to pay $50 for the day……
