Party City

I bought I helium tank that was used. Did not fill 1/4 of what it normally does when I get them for my kids birthdays. I asked to replace the tank as I only have a few done. I was not given help. Do not recommend this location. Go to Cambridge.

Poor Quality Product and Poor Quality Service... I had to jump through some hoops with customer service all to have my costume that dismantled by the end of the night... I normally try to get creative and use supplies from home to make a costume but I stopped into Party City a few days before Halloween and saw that they had a good selection for a decent price (I paid $39.99 for my outfit which was a Mad Scientist). Of course, you are not able to try the item on while in the store so I referred to the sizing chart they had, a Small was indicated to be a 4-6. I drove home which is over an hour away and tried it on immediately - unfortunately, it was too snug. I called them right away to ask that they reserve a size up for me because the person that helped me while I was there did make a comment about them being low in stock. It was too late for me to drive back out as they would have been closed but I assured the staff member that I would be back first thing the next morning. I was told that they do not do overnight holds or holds over the phone but that if I called tomorrow morning to request a hold that someone would do it. I asked how this makes sense since it would still be a hold request via phone and I expressed my concern with this process because it would be a different group of staff to open the following day. With no real assurance that this plan would work, our call was disconnected and I planned to call first thing the next morning with the hope that they would place it on hold. I called and they said that would put it aside for me for 2 HOURS and that if I did not show up by then they would need to put it back. I understand that it is close to Halloween and they want to ensure their product is off the shelves but all of the uncertainty and way they went about this just really added to the stress of simply wanting to exchange an item that I paid for and could not use despite following the sizing chart instructions. Thankfully, I was fortunate enough to be able to get to the store within those 2 hours they were willing to reserve the item for me. I wore the outfit during a small get together with friends Saturday night and after paying $40 for the outfit (thinking it would be a great costume for several other family members and other parties in years to come), all the threading came out in the back. My mom had already had to resew it before the party and the thread just continued to pull all night long leaving part of my back exposed.

Selection was OK. Very busy for balloons. Ended up going elsewhere to get them. Nice variety of things if you are doing a party. Great variety of goodies and party themes.

Didn't have my order. Unfriendly.

I've been twice at this location and entire Staff is highly depressed and has absolutely no motive to serve or assist. Balloon selection is decent but for the price you will end up paying, you are better off ordering from Amazon and have them assist with Helium. I would only go here if it's a must at a short notice.

Overpriced and poorly ran. Placed an order 48 hours in advance and still had to wait an hour for my order to be completed. Staff were not helpful at all. Would not recommend Party City.

Picked up balloons yesterday afternoon and this morning they were droopy, by noon they were dragging on the floor. I called the store and they said they only guarantee their latex balloons for 10-12 hours. I mentioned nobody told me that I should be picking them up the next day, and as it was, it was less than 10 hours that they gave out. I'm not impressed, and will go somewhere else next time.

Laziest manager I have ever met at any establishment. Online it showed an item in stock. Drove a good distance to purchase the item. She knew exactly where it was (it had been boxed up that day) and refused to remove it from the box literally sitting on the floor in front of where I stood.It honestly would not have hurt her day to help a paying customer. Disgusting! Please consider replacing her before you lose more customers

I went to have my balloons inflated that I had bought before (from another Party City location) and had called to confirm prior. After waiting at the helium station for a line up of about 6 people (and the only clerk) and she hadn't even acknowledged that I was waiting, I got in the checkout line. When I finally got to speak to her, the balloons I had bought and confirmed about still had an added charge, but I did end up with 2 beautiful bouquets in time for the party.
