Japanese and Euro selection with amazing fittings, what else do you need? I used to think fashion designer name brand glasses were the top echelon until seeing the selection at Josephson. Also, their staff really knows how to fit glasses on your head, which has always been a problem for me with other places. Definitely will be back again.

Great location great service. Location is at the center too. Just walking distance from yonge ang bloor or bay subway station. Many selections. They accept insurance. Maybe finding a parking is a bit challenging and the traffic. So better take public transportation.

Sharon was most helpful in helping me pick out five frames to suit me. I narrowed it down to two. I loved the selection of fashionable frames.

I did not have a good experience here. Poor customer service. I booked a 'frame fitting' and the optician didn't introduce herself, handed me one pair of frames, and gestured to the hundreds of frames on the wall. It was 30 minutes until closing and every employee there looked like they were already out the door. Extremely disappointed. Maybe other Josephson locations are okay, or maybe I was there on weird day.

Simran at Josephson Optical was a pleasure to work with. She was warm, caring, perceptive as well as knowledgeable, practical and professional. She quickly heard and understood what I wanted in terms of both lenses and frames. She was able to show me suitable alternatives within a very short time. Amazing service and fantastic products. I was very well treated here and the attention to detail is amazing!!!! I found the most amazing gold frames and I waited for them to go on sale (a little pricey but we'll worth it). The quality is like no other. My glasses are super fragile and super light weight but I've dropped them a million times and no damages! !! I found the staff to be super helpful and patient but most importantly knowledgeable of their products. They took their time helping me find something in my budget & to my liking. I was amazing that they knew about every detail of their products like different materials used. I did not have to compromise anything. I got the best product for the best price and with the most amazing service. I would absolutely recommend Josephson''s to my family and friends.

I got my last two pairs of glasses at Josephson. The staff, especially Simran and Shalina, were very helpful in finding frames that suited my small face. I've worn glasses for most of my life and I've never gotten comments before on my glasses. However I received SO MANY compliments with the frames I purchased here.

I picked up my glasses today and they were perfect! I was helped by Simran and it was the best experience I have had to date in terms of selecting new frames for my glasses and prescription sunglasses. Simran, one of the opticians, was friendly, proficient and zeroed right in on the best frames for me without me having to try on too many frames. Highly recommend this business for great personalized service and definitely ask for Simran to help you!

Clerk was unwilling to spend the time with me to find an appropriate pair of frames. She was unenthusiastic about me being in the shop. No help provided in choosing a frame. Did not ask probing questions.Will be taking my business to a shop with clerks who won’t treat me like an inconvenience.Clerk was in the back room and I had to call out to see if anyone was working.Astonished to see a 4* rating for this place.

I can’t say enough about the professionalism and the amazing service I always receive at Josephson Opticians. I go to the flagship store on 60 Bloor St. West because it’s the closest one to where I live. However, I have friends, who recommended Josephson to me years ago, who go to their other locations also rave about Josephson.The staff is highly qualified and genuinely cares for their clients. And, needless to say, the eyeglass frames they sell are top notch.I especially want to thank Shalina and Max at 60 Bloor St. for the care I received while going through a difficult period with my vision. They were so reassuring and kind as they sensed my worry. They ordered prism glasses prescribed by my ophthalmologist and optometrist and the glasses were just perfect. Shalina even called me at home to find out how I was getting used to them and to make sure I was happy with my corrected vision.For all these reasons, I highly recommend Josephson Opticians.
