We had quite a few times here . Employees had good review on them .So I when to pick up the food myself .I placed an online order which was quite large 10 items or so... they were quite busy for a Friday lunch for take out . Dine in was not pack at 12noon. It's very hard to get thru them by phone ..so had to do an online order .Service was slow .. seem short staff or something.. uber and skip was ringing non stop .had to wait 20 more minutes for the goodAt first got the food and headed back work ..one item was missing..and two were misunderstood by the staff...miss the Salad and sauce. I had to head back .. but the person ..quickly gave the missing item and the salad .Overall food is not bad ...... won't mind giving a second go to try other food

Clean, open and bright space! Service was friendly, you go up and order. The food was flavourful and filling. The chicken was delicious. Would come again to try more!

I am giving this restaurant 5 $tars for its authentic taste. The process of ordering is to go to the front counter and give your order, you will be given a receipt and your food will be serve to you in your chosen table. We went there when the first COVID restrictions were lifted. The service is excellent, food is made to order so when it is served to your table, it'll be fresh, piping hot and delectable. They specialize in grilled foods, fresh salads and specialty Mediterranean rice. I would say this is a fusion of middle Eastern/African cuisine and it comes off as brilliant.The servers are professional, courteous and friendly. It was introduced by a Somalian friend and I would say I genuinely enjoyed the experience. I would actually go again with my party and perhaps order something different. I was impressed with their muufo platters, it was my first time tasting a Somalian cuisine, it's subtle and not overpowering, it's actually tomato based stews.Shoutout to the owner ABDULLAHI, he gave us the sticky toffee pudding on the house and it really tasted heavenly.Keep up the good work !!!

This place is something else!!!Highly highly recommended!We ordered, Chicken , lamb and fish Mandi they were so good and lamb soup is so delicious.Taste- portion- generosity is on point!Parking/ washrooms/ Lots of space

I'll keep this short and sweet. Xawaash lives up to all the five star reviews. Everything is amazing from the samosas, breads, main courses, desserts, you name it. Very beautiful and friendly staff as well.

One of my favourite places to go for comfort food, which actually is comforting. The Somali blend of spices, fusion of pasta and curried dishes was a combo that unexpectedly works really well. The staff was phenomenal and service was polite and accommodating. Overall I’d recommend this place to any of my friends looking for some good food, tasty spices and truly a comforting experience.

One of my Somalia friend recommended this resturant. So i went there and i ordered Chicken Kofta and Chicken Hebab with Rice and Fried Chicken Legs with Rice.First i tried Chicken kofta & hebab with rice. rice is so tasty, we can eat rice without any dishes that much taste i like the rice taste. Chicken kofta & chikcen kebab well cooked and one the top well toasted.Then i tried fried chicken legs with rice. Rice is good but the chicken is too much oil. I dont like fried chicken leg perosnally other than that everything i loved it.

Very good food and friendly service. Lamb is excellent value. My complaint is the flimsy coffee cup lids don't fit tightly over the cups and I ended up spilling hot coffee on myself several times. Beware!

On our way back from my son’s soccer game, we decided to grab a bite outside and chanced upon this amazing Somalian place..We ordered a muufo platter and a chicken kofta platter.. The muufo platter came with a super soft and spongy muufo bread, mbaggo (spinach, carrots and potato stew) and chicken suqaar (chicken curry) - best of spices in the stew & curry..We also ordered a crumble in the mouth - chicken kofta platter which came with the most flavourful rice and a mouth watering salad..Cherry on top were the drinks we ordered. My son’s Mango Lassi was very fresh and delicious and my Honeyed Ginger tea was exquisite.. I’ll definitely try making it at home!!The star of the show was Mahamri, a fried bread with a hint of sweetness!!Would definitely come next time to also try the vegetarian options which were plenty and looked appetizing!!
