When my father passed after a long stay in hospital I was not looking forward to next steps and helping my mother through themFilled with anxiety, we booked an appointment with Justin at Cardinal funeral homes on Bathurst.He helped us through it all.He was kind, patient, caring and guided us.It made what was already a very stressful experience somewhat less stressful. Just attended another funeral here for a family member third one in less than two years. My other two experiences were phenomenal and amazing and the staff went over and beyond but unfortunately this time. The funeral Director that we got I believe her name was Jennifer was absolutely horrible.. she was very rude and had no respect for the family. Telling family members that they couldn’t walk with their mother into the church to rushing the grandchildren out of the church.I’m honestly in SHOCK.I will mention that I was just attending the funeral and my review is about what I witnessed this lady say and do and this review is not from a direct family member.To work in this industry you need to be a bit more compassionate towards the family and friends of the deceased.

They help you through everything that needs to be done at your pace. In a very calming professional manner as they know that you lost a loved one and respect that thank you for taking care of my father.

We asked Cardinal Funeral Home (Bathurst) to take care of my father's funeral. Our Funeral Director was exemplary in guiding us through this process that was completely unknown to us. She truly understood and respected our wishes with patience, kindness, professionalism and empathy. We would 100% recommend this funeral home to anyone. (+ there is a parking lot available on site)

Extremely accommodating and friendly staff!! The place is well maintained and spacious. This was unlike some other funeral homes where they rush you out or time everything you do. We felt welcomed and were given extra time to eat in their lounge area. The kids area was great since it was a 2 hour viewing and they needed a break. Def recommend!!!!!

We were gifted with meaningful keepsakes to take home with us of our beloved such as a memorial candle, a framed picture of my father for his night side table and videos of the Requiem Mass and cemetery visit to share with family and friends unable to attend due to the pandemic restrictions.
