As a non-white person, I found my first and (hopefully) only encounter here racist. The person behind the counter was extremely patient when dealing with several, repetitive questions of the white person in front of me. As soon as I approached and asked about my options for sending the documents I had to send, he started rolling his eyes and showing impatience at my questions for further clarity. I pointed out that this was my first time using Canada Post and it would be appreciated if he could mellow down a bit. He did stop rolling his eyes at least; but it was extremely unpleasant to see his differential treatment.

Friendly and helpful customer service. Have been visiting since I became a Postcrossing Postcard sender in early 2016. Great selection of commemorative stamps, coins, and office stationary. Also a convenient lottery retailer.

I got awful treatment, couple are bias with their service. White people get the VIP treatment while others get told off. People of all backgrounds will come there to get their packages , it's not who you want !!!!

This place got a bad rap because the old staff were the grouchiest people ever. There's a new couple running the place now, and it's much much better. Nice price on huge bags of candy, and a painless post office experience.

Informative, knowledgeable, friendly. Alot of customers arent really prepared when they come in, asking questions, taping packages, finding out how much something costs. So those take some time in wait times. The couple tend to work as a team, unless canada post has just come in. Then its just one of the them. So be patient. About 3 to 5 customers can fit into the store at a time. Ive had no issues with their professionalism. And never lost a package on me yet, been going to them for 3 years.

April 14, 2020: I went to retrieve a package at the post office at 5pm. A hastily handwritten sign in the window said that closing time is now 6pm (18:00), but the doors were all locked, and there was no one inside. Another handwritten sign on the cluttered window simply says that the store is “Temporarily closed” with no indication of whether that’s for a few minutes or a few weeks.For context, I am writing during the Covid-19 epidemic.

Canada Post chose to deliver here instead of directly to me. I brought a cart, but the boxes were too big. The people at Oakwood allowed me to unpack the boxes. So very kind.

Did very nice and reasonably priced passport photos here. The owner was nice and let me retake image few times until I was happy. Will do all my future document photos here again, for sure.
