Carlington Park Bike Pump Track
This is a great place to take riders of all age and skill level. There are loops for beginners to advanced. You can easily spend upwards of 2 hours riding.

Great place. Nothing to extreme, an amature can ride all the trails here. If you're more advanced challenge yourself to clear every jump or time yourself. Your map might bring you to the park at the bottom of the hill. You'll just have to walk up and you'll see the park. Wonderfully maintained trails. I've seen kids as young as 2 riding on these (it doesnt interfere much with the more difficult paths)

It's a great bike ride up to the reservoir with stunning views of the city. Not to be missed. You can ride the entire pathway to the Experimental Farm or to most any other destination west or north honestly. Quite bloody fun and OMG No! It's healthy too! Just like your Mom's fried liver she made when you were young and admonished you if you didn't eat. Fun times.

So much fun for cyclists of all ages and abilities. From toddlers on balance bikes to BMX to full-suspension carbon frames.

Great park. Three levels of difficulty. Can get busy but take turns and enough room for all

Like one of the other reviews said, there is something for every cyclist. The pump tracks have a beginner loop up to an expert loop. Obviously the expert look is not like Whistler or anything but it's a little bit technical. The pump track is really fun and I could spend hours on it!

My kids love coming here. The various tracks start simple, and go to an intermediate level. Great views of the city skyline, and it's free. As it's all open area, it can get a little hot under the sun, so bring some water. If you're biking to the location, it's just past Clyde Woods, reachable from the Experimental Farm pathway. If you're driving, you can park on Morisset Avenue, next to the baseball diamond. This is the only negative aspect: signage to this place is awful. You'll have to trust your Google map, walk through a gate at the very end of Morisset, and head North on a driveway, then a path, to get there. Only once you've arrived will you see any signs. There's very little info on the City of Ottawa site, so if anything, this makes the park almost a hidden gem.

My second home since it was built. I take my four kids there and enjoy all levels available for having fun and helping develop our bike skills.
