Phew, that's a lot of review reporting for one day. Anyone reading this, do not listen to the anti-maskers on this review. Hopefully with enough fellow reporters they'll eventually be taken down and I can update my review. Now for my actual review!The Red Onion is a gem of a place. It is so great to have a bulk health food store in Annapolis Royal; it was actually a large part of why we chose this place to live over others. In my opinion it's incredibly important to have independent grocers, especially those that allow waste-free purchases. This conversation is still not occurring often enough with the larger grocery stores and retailers. It is nice not to feel guilty every time I get groceries, as I do at the larger grocery stores, because 90% of their food comes in plastic or other packaging. Not so with the Red Onion! Melody also does a great job of selecting items to sell at the Red Onion too. Support this great shop!

Excellent selection of natural and vegan items. We stopped in to pick up a few things for a small picnic and ended up loaded with essential staples as well. This is a great little market!

The Red Onion is a lovely little store in the heart of Annapolis Royal. They stock an ever-expanding curated selection of eco-friendly, healthy, and bulk products. The staff is marvelous to deal with, and shopping options include in-store, curbside pickup, and delivery (to local areas only). I have shopped using all three of these methods and they are all convenient. So glad to have this market in our town!

This little market if fantastic. It had many items that aren't available at local grocery stores and also carries some local products too. Very friendly and extremely helpful.Please be aware that all the negative reviews saying rude" are all Anti-maskers. I have reported them all to Google for removal as being inappropriate. Don't worry about them trolling the store for long

As I had never been into the Red Onion Store in Annapolis Royal and since I was looking for very specific dietary items which were gluten-free and lactose free, I called ahead of time to be sure most of the items I needed were available. The premises are bright and cheery and the owner pleasant. The service was prompt. I got most of the items I came for with the exception of hazelnuts which at approximately $13 a small bag were more than I wanted to pay.

This is a delightful store in the heart of Annapolis Royal. Really wonderful local products, and always fresh. The owner is lovely, and quick to respond to customer requests. They pass on savings from vendors to customers, and post deals and new products on their Facebook page. A real gem and wonderful destination to plan your trip to Annapolis around.

We are lucky to have the Red Onion Market in Annapolis Royal! This little gem is well stocked with a nice bulk organic section and some unique products as well. I shop there every week and can always find what I need. The store is very clean, by the way.

Super friendly lady who runs the place. Considering the type of store it is, I find the prices are great. I'm used to health" stores charging outrageous prices. This place is an exception to that rule."

What a little gem! Nice selection of organic, bulk and international items. Prices are reasonable and the owner, Melody, is friendly and helpful. She also knows a lot about the area. She was so welcoming as I shared that we were looking to move to the area. I couldn’t wait to revisit her lovely shop to let her know that we’re now neighbors!
