Very impressed with the facilities for an out-of-town baseball tournament. Clean washrooms, older but clean. There were two buildings with washrooms open even though we were only using the one baseball field, so really only two teams at the field. The teams appreciated the dugouts being covered. Easy access to the highway and close to hotels. Of course, it was lovely to also be able to enjoy the lovely town of Huntsville!

Funny they built this park in swamp land but it works. Quite a few mosquito bites to be expected but worth every bite....so to speak.Needs more garbage can collection on trails for dog waste. People seem to pick-up and chuck waste bag into forest to keep that trail clear without thought of Huntsville's watershed.Great spot all and all. Lots to do if in the area. Would recommend but needs better management.

Well, the skatepark is one thing but the dog park freedom dog park is another zero management or maintenance and let's face it. Our population at least 80% of us are dog owners and lovers. The city needs to pay attention to the only space we have to let our dogs mingle as well. Play and be safe without the fear of them getting through a gate running away or breaking their legs when running through. :(

Big fan of this dog park, I bring my dog here daily.The only wish I have, is that owners of reactive/traumatized/aggressive dogs use the separate fenced-in area to let their dogs off leash. Rules are clearly posted indicating that such dogs are not allowed in the park, however, some owners insist on bringing these dogs despite the risks they pose.I met a particularly irate gentleman" today

Dog park NOT safe. Entrance/exit gate do not latch. Hole under entrance gates as well as other gates on parameter. Space between post are big enough for smaller dogs to escape. Fence is falling apart. Very sad to see. Just a little work and this dog park could be brought back to life.

We visit here fairly regularly to play disc golf. We have always liked the course and appreciate the recent brushing.
