The setting was beautiful by the beaver river. The staff (tracy/big red) took control of our large group with prompt service. The food was delicious and I'm certain I saw Chef Ramsay on the patio

I really wanted this place to be amazing and a taste of home when I see English Pub although I should learn to lower my expectations on English Style Pubs regardless of where I am in Ontario.Location is beautiful that's for sure but location can only carry you so far.The waiting times were the biggest issue, over 20 minutes from being seated to anyone coming over eventhough there seemed to be an abundance of staff.As for the food, I had the burger and if I'm honest it was pretty bland, not really seasoned well at all.My partner enjoyed her meal, she did try my burger and agreed it was very bland.I will return next time im in the area as this may have just been down to volume of people ant the establishment.

Decided to check out this spot and had an amazing time with my friends.Absolutely amazing service and food.From the moment we walked on our server Jacob pulled out all the stops and helped make the night a special one.If you're looking for a great night out with delicious food and Absolutely amazing service. Definitely check them out. !I will be returning and bringing my family with me.

We stopped by for a late afternoon snack. The Brussel sprouts were delicious! The sticky toffee pudding was also excellent. Great outdoor atmosphere.

Michelle was an excellent (bilingual, which was a great bonus for us) server! Nice selection of beers on tap. The food came out fast and was pretty good, except for a lemon tart dessert that was liquid, so she exchanged it for a sticky toffee dessert that was delicious :) Lots of seating and was able to make a reservation the same day online. We will definitely be back!

Visited this (Tuesday) evening for the first time. I’ve lived in the area for 6 years & have been meaning to try this place.. they had 3 servers working with the patio full/line ups. Waited 12 min for someone to acknowledge us. Once seated, waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. The table beside ours had 3 guys arrive to a dirty table & I watched the man literally clear the table himself & bring the dishes inside, then a server rushed out. Terrible service definitely due to staffing, however the food was delicious- I had the burger & fries and my fiancé had the wings. Sadly I likely won’t come back.

My wife and I went for lunch and we’re not disappointed. A really cool place, old house that used to be a bead and breakfast. We sat at the bar and were served by Jacob, what a great friendly person, very attentive and nice to talk to . We had the crispy chicken sandwich and cheeseburger , one with fries and one with apple salad. All of it fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!

Thanks Jacob! Great food, great service, sunny patio. Lots of open space for kids however would be great if there was a bit more stroller accessibility - add a ramp please!

We went early for a supper and the staff was so friendly and service was great I like the decor it was cute and unique. Also I absolutely love the fries, be more than happy to just get a plate of them best fries in the area from what I've tried.

We visited for the first time and, while the food was good, the service was mediocre. I was interested in the fried chicken sandwich and asked our server if it was made with white meat, as I really dislike dark. The server confirmed that it was made with white meat. Sure enough, the sandwich arrived and it was 100% dark meat. When I noted the mistake, our server blamed the kitchen and offered to bring me a new meal. I asked for the fish and chips. At this point, everyone else at our table was nearly finished their meal. I waited an additional 30 minutes for my new meal, and when it came I was told that I wouldn't be charged for the original chicken sandwich (duh). Ultimately, I wasn't comped for the error - I basically paid the same amount for a different dinner, and had to wait twice as long. I really feel that in this day and age, and with a table of six that has spent more than their fair share on pitchers and food, the very least you could do is comp my plate.
