Great products, friendly staff, lots of character!!! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! A must whenever I’m in the neighbourhood. A real Italian bakery and deli, mini grocery store and coffee bar. Family run business, you know its good since all the customers are local italians!! Cold cuts were best of my life, baked goods and hot food never disappoints! Looks a bit dingy from the outside, but can only say good things about the inside!

I went to the store today to order my son graduation cake but The old lady in the casher very resist… she made me wait and she serve other customer . First she gossip about me I don’t know what she said but the customer saw me and laughed at me. the casher back to me said she don’t have any graduation cake better try other places” this is totally not fair!

My desserts tasted like how the store smells, which is really weird. And my whip cream was stale on the outside? Nothing is labeled in the bakery or dessert section so we constantly had to ask what stuff was. The employee we asked seemed new because he had to ask someone too what we were asking about. If things were properly labeled and maybe ingredients listed, people would know what stuff is. I asked about the croissants and was told one was chocolate (I thought it was sesame and it turned out to be specks of chocolate on top?) And when I ate it, it was actually hazelnut spread. It's just kind of a whole mess.

I am seriously sick and tired of constantly coming and walking to this plaza and being blocked by a car or truck on the sidewalkIt’s a daily thing and funny enough almost always staff, not always but a lot of the time it is or Uber drivers or someone * just picking up a order*I have asked for calls from the GM and never had a return call despite many messages left.La rose needs to ensure there is no parking on the side walk or parked along side for 1) safety and it being a fire route 2) so people who have mobility devise can easily walk on side walk without being forced to walk along the road. The one time I approached this issue it was a Monday and a truck was parked on the side walk with a very empty parking lot since your closed mondays, yet still had the audacity to use the excuses I work her as to why he was blocking the side walk.Today they were on the side more so but still no parking, there was 4 empty spots directly in front.I have also had issues with staff parking in the accessibility spots because of loading or something to do with the garden center.Absolutely no respect for these action, your staff truly believes to me no one else matters.

Served day old bread in the morning, which should be inexcusable given that this place is a bakery. It’s a shell of what it used to be 20 years ago and was empty and sad when I was there recently.I was unable to tell that the bread was incredibly stale as we are not allowed to select our own buns anymore. Will not ever be returning there.Beware of any positive reviews of this place, they’re probably at least a decade old.

Call & make sure they're open before you visit (covid makes their closing time fluctuate).Super legit Italian family owned, localbusiness / purveyor of bakery & savoury food.Great selection of traditional Italian cookies, plus western baked goods (croissants, fruit turnovers, brownies, butter tarts, donuts, etc. And they're also well known for a wide selection of deli meats, cheese & take-out chicken, pizza, lasagna & more!!PLUS they have their own on-site coffee bar.Super handy for a variety of good quality food.I've been coming here for eons...(Follow me on Instagram @aida.loves)

Not enough custard and not creamy(taste like jello) at all !! And I called talk to the owner to let her know she said this cream bombe imported from Italy , WOW, I’m so disappointed even more!! I would think that if it came from Italy there would more custard ,quality ,authentic..Italian dessertsEach piece cost me $2.75Very poor quality!!

We expected to get some good fresh food from Italian bakery. Unfortunately it didn't go with our expectations.Pizza was almost without cheese and extremely salty. We bought more than 10 different pastries. 70% of them were stale and tasted terribly. We decided don't waste our money in the store.
