Budget Car Rental

First off the car was nice to drive, however thats only good thing about this place. I rented a vehicle for night using my air miles. When I picked the car up I told them I was probably going to be an hour late as I was going to Niagara Falls and depending on traffic. There response was we will go over that when we print the contract. He printed it out and informed me that If I was an hour late, the cost would be 188.00 (The next nights rental rate). The man said to me may as well keep it its cheaper anyway. If it wasnt for the air miles being used, I would have said forget it and gone somewhere else. After a couple hours debating it I thought, heck with it I will keep it till the next morning. In the past, I have dealt with a Budget ( I come from Orillia and there used to be one) and they were very accommodating if I was an hour late, same with other rental companies (Enterprise). You guys need to have some flexibility when people want to return their rentals an hour later. Whats one hour? If it were 2 or 3 hours later I could see it but one hour? Come on. I guess money is more important than making sure your customers are satisfied and will want to return in the future. I will never rent from Budget again.

Theives, Liars, and Crooks. Stay away !!! Claimed I would pay less if I rented by the week. Forgot all about it when I returned.Even the daily price was massively higher when I returned. Stay away !!!!

Looking to rent a car for a day or two? Budget has you covered. Honestly was running late to the location I had booked and they were awesome enough to rebook at another location to accomodate me that closed at 5!!! So helpful, friendly and very kind service.The cars are clean, and the selection is good!The gentleman who helped was really awesome. Funny and knew how to actually create rapport with his clients Instead of being just another transaction.I did take pictures, but it's a car rental shop, use your imagination...

Tribble customer service and rude employee, they ruined our day! When we went there they told us the car that we already reserved is not available and the price has changed, we must pay more than twice of the price that we paid!!

Great service. Staff at the counter were friendly and helpful with directions and even gave me options to hell avoid toll roads. Car had less than 3000 on the clock and was like a brand new car which is unexpected in a rental car. Return was very easy and staff were very nice to deal with. Would definitely rent from here again next time I visit Richmond Hill.

I don’t recommend renting a car from here, terrible customer service and attitude. My partner and I called back in November to book a rental car with winter tires for a trip we are taking during the holidays in December - needing the car on December 22nd. We were informed that they could not guarantee a vehicle with winter tires for the date given and they suggested that we should call back closer to the date we need the car. They quoted us $1400 for the rental even though they did not have a vehicle with winter tires, but told us that this would be the price of a vehicle rental with winter tires. Both my partner and I called today (3 days before we leave) to see if they have a vehicle with winter tires. When we called, we were greeted with a dismissive attitude. We were then quoted 1800$ for a rental with winter tires. I asked why there was a price jump from the last time we called. The man’s explanation was that we did not give the dates when we had called in November -we did. His next explanation was that in the last quote it did not include winter tires - when we called last, it definitely included winter tires as we had been searching for a car rental place that provides winter tires on some of their vehicles (which is apparently very hard to find in Ontario).we also double checked with the person on the phone with us back in November. I then explained that their customer service should be transparent if they made a mistake with the quote and this should be possibly be something they work on in their customer service going forward. The man then said thank you for the tip and hung up on me.

Horrible owners. Will blame you for the damages of previous clients. Enterprise on keele has far superior rates / options / coverage

Terrible customer service, rented van for moving, in the middle of winter got a vehicle with regular tires and rear wheel drive. No windshield fluid, I got stuck in the middle of intersection, car was unable to move forward. When somehow managed to retur it, both workers were trying to convince me that it is absolutely normal thing to have non winter tires in the middle of winter.

Been coming here for years, ow era were in vacation when I dropped a car off and a few days later rented a car. Very nice staff, friendly, thorough and helpful. Thank you
