Northern Lights Estate Winery

Love this winery. Just ordered for delivering to manitoba. Shipping fee was very reasonable. Took only a few days to get here. No broken bottles. And the taste amazing. Will definitely be ordering again.

Came here with family to try the local wine and have some appetizers. The service wasn’t the greatest as the waitress forgot our order, after 20mins we asked her and she was apologetic. The food and wine was good, not the greatest.

Came here for the first time for lunch. Have tried their wine before, and really wanted to try their food.Food was excellent and the service was exceptional! I highly recommend their spicy seafood chowder.

Very nice experience. Man who did our tasting was very nice and attentive. Wines are interesting! Bought a case to bring home.The food at the bistro was really tasty and reasonably priced. Had Carne and Foraged flatbreads and 4 of the tapas. Very happy for Prince George to have something like this. Would be a very nice place for a date.

We were introduced to Northern Lights Estate winery by a local friend who lives in Prince George. The winery is known for wine other than grape wines.Unfortunately we didn’t get to dine at their restaurant or patio when we were there as it was outside of their service hours, it was also pouring rain on their patio. It would have been nice to relax and have lunch there though.Due to the weather we were basically the only ones there, we were greeted promptly and requested for a complimentary wine tasting.We basically tried most of the wine they produce, the most notable ones for me were the Seduction, the Ursa and Blueberry Port. The Seduction is their best selling wine, which I can see why, as you air it out in the wine glass you can smell the hit of strawberries. All of their wines were quite different from traditional wine, it has all the fruit notes, but less of the tannins.Our sommelier was friendly and knowledgeable, walking us through each wine and making food pairing suggestions.In the end we got 2 boxes of various wines as they aren’t very widely distributed. I believe you can get the Seduction wine at BC Liquor.Will definitely stop by for another visit when we go to Prince George again.

Been looking forward to a visit on our trip up from the Interior, and Northern Lights did not disappoint! We were there for lunch on June 28th. The food, the view, the staff (Jesse in particular), and especially the wine were all spectacular! We watched a thunderstorm skirt the city while sharing the amazing desserts together. It was the best meal experience I had with my children on this trip! Thank you so much!

Awesome location, good service, food not so good.Dined with a table of 5 with 5 different drinks and mains; none of which were good. Place has so much potential, but menu needs some work.

Nice summer patio with lovely view. Food was very average. We had both pastas, a Cesar, and flatbread. The tomatoe base pasta was almost flavourless but the mushroom pesto one was yummy. Flatbread was essentially just a cheese bread. Fruit wines were fun to sample, but not for us.

OMG the food was amazing! Some of the best tasting food You will ever have. Julia and Sara were our servers and they were outstanding. I highly recommended coming and enjoying the food, atmosphere, and the wonderful servers. This is now our PG destination!
