Betty Sutherland Trail Park
Trail is CLOSED at 401 with no detour route shared. Signage indicated closure expected til 2026.Very inconvenient for pedestrians and cyclists.

Beautiful little park which has the only pedestrian and cycle friendly path to cross the 401. Lots of wildlife and it’s a magical cycle commute to school for my daughter.Unfortunately, the 401 extension plans will result on the closure of the 401 underpass and loss of access from the North for 2-3 years from spring 2023.If you use the 401 underpass for access or commuting, please consider contacting the construction company GHD or local councillor Shelley Carroll.

Nice place for a quality time walk. It’s really amazing during the fall season! The colors of the trees and the leaves are spectacular! It has more visitors this year. It’s more than the visitors average for last three years, and I believe it’s because of the pandemic. We just started the second wave in Toronto, and there is no more indoor activities.

Quiet 2 km trail connecting York Mills and Sheppard. Not much traffic, very woody (not much sun exposure) and more walkers than cyclists. Nice Don River stream runs through. Very tranquil. Quick safe alternative to cycling along the main North York roads.

Trail is beautiful especially in the falls. No much crowd. Good for cycling. Scenic spots are very less. Silent and good to refresh.

Must visit this place during the fall. It's so pretty there and not crowded at all. I like this place better than the Edward garden.

Beware the fence! The trail is now inaccessible underneath Highway 401.Some people would give 5 stars for the amenities, but I give 5 stars because of the way it makes me feel when I pass through. It is like that. To each their own. No playgrounds & no picnic areas, but that adds to the charm that attracts me here. I love to see people from all walks of life walking by.

It’s currently closed due to construction work. Wish I knew before. Make sure to take a bug spray if you are going here! The park is calm and peaceful, and the creek is just beautiful here

Not a destination, but check it if you are in the area. Mosquitos were vicious though.
