This branch is AWFUL in some customer service activities. I wanted to raise my credit limi, had a meeting with a financial advisor, emailed him my documents, but received no reply, called and emailed again, no reply. Finally after waiting for a month, I went to another branch, and it was done in 10 minutes.

I went to open a chequing account. The lady who assisted me was friendly and helpful. She initially told me that it would take a hour to open the account, but I was out of there with a new debit card in less than half an hour!!!! Wow!!! Thanks Scotiabank!!!!!

I called today and the wait time was 20 mins finally someone named Harry picked up the phone and all I could hear was them laughing. He put me on hold so that he could finish up with his jokes. They lack professionalism and then I said if you are busy should I call back and he said yeah, okay, bye.

Yes, this is probably what you'd expect from a bank, but I've always had really good luck with the staff here being attentive, helpful and kind. I've never felt like people are standing around and not opening lines because they can. You know that feeling at a bank? That's just the worst.

Tried setting up a meeting with with at this bank three times, the first two were suppose to be phone calls - no one phoned. And the third one which was suppose to be an in-person meeting I received an email telling me they would be unable with there to help and gave me a toll free number to call. I ended up just walking into the 8th street branch and they were able to help me right away. Downtown branch is useless.

Branch clerks were rude; and phone-call waiting time is usually extremely long. Please treat yourself better by not banking with them.

A place to store some cash and earn a few Scene points; I honestly cannot recommend this branch for anything more. The tellers are very friendly, but also prone to error. Have the app open so you can double-check things and have them corrected before you leave. The real tragedy is the revolving-door financial advisors" and mortgage "specialists". Good grief: you'd find more expertise in grade 10 economics students. Not a place to put your faith in."

Rude guy who answered after more then 15 minutes of my waiting, wasn't knowledgeable to help and told me that he is not a branch, and to not address him like that. Questions were about the branch, not him personal. Is this normal?!
