Excellent facility. Both my son's have attended. Many of our friends have had similarly positive experiences. Highly recommend this professional institution.

Clean and safe daycare with friendly staff and efficient administration. I've been dealing with QPCCC for years and you can really tell how much everyone cares!

I had experienced an accident at the daycare centre when picking up my kid. And I am very unsatisfied with the response and corresponding action from the Executive Director and administrative staff of the centre.I was walking into the centre from outside while I pulled the door towards myself. The handlebar fell off from inside and hit onto my right cheek bone. It was absolutely unpredictable so even though I tried to react to hold the bar, the bar itself is too heavy (6-8kg in weight) which fasten up the speed and strength of falling. My mind was black out for a few seconds after the incident happened. If there was one minimal difference with my walking speed or the falling angle , my eye would got hit and I am sure it would affect my sight for a lifetime. The swelling and bruising on my right cheek and around my right eye were very apparent, which took more than 10 days to heal. In one picture, it shows that the swelling made my right eye look much smaller than the other even it was closer to the camera. To be honest, If it fell to a person taller than me, it would hit to the head directly and possibly cause a concussion of brain. Worse, if it fell to a kid, that handlebar was like a guillotine, I cannot imagine if it hit a kid's neck. Therefore, we raised our concern to the centre about the safety and importance of injury prevention.According to the director, She agreed this is absolutely an incident that she would never suspect to happen. It was found that the bar had come loose since its installation so their technician was able to tighten and secure it immediately. My question: Does it mean they do not have any maintenance or regular check up for the building facilities since everything's installation???They also do not provide reassurance to us that they will check on other facilities within the premises to ensure nothing will fall down unexpectedly or to impose regular maintenance checking in the future. We gave them a few weeks to follow up the issue and For the time being, we didn't send our kid in since the safety is unknown. But disappointedly to know they seem to not realise the importance of safety or the severity of its threat to the kids. So I then requested an immediate withdrawal. However, they insisted to follow their payment policy to request me to pay for an extra month for withdrawal. As the injured person myself, I find it is unfair for them to make such request to me, not to mention that our withdrawal is mainly resulted in their failure on security and safety management. It is a daycare centre, the safety should always come first.
