Prince of Whales - Whale & Marine Wildlife Adventures Ticketing Booth (Tours Start on Granville Island)

I was neglected by the whale watching staff in Victoria yesterday and I demanded that they refund me because the staff were not helpful at all to me. I just talked to a manager and he was rude to me and kept on saying that he refuses to refund me, a customer who was neglected.

The whole experience was awesome, we got lucky and we saw a lot of whales. We also saw sea lions and eagles. The crews was very nice with us, the guy at the last day of training (sorry I am bad with names) was super helpful with questions and curiosities.Tour in May the 28th at 8:30

It was great. The tour guide had such great personality and really made the trip. It was alot of fun. Great for couples and families.

Unprofessional company experience. Was encouraged to come wait on standby as tickets were sold out. Check in was at 2pm, departure scheduled at 2:30pm. At 2:20pm we were told in 5-10 min they would tell us if we have a spot as they have to make the “tough calls”.Fully appreciate risks of being on standby and we knew we might not get a spot. However instead of keeping to what they themselves said, the staff proceeded to make the captain of the boat who really wanted to leave wait until at least 2:37pm for guests who were arriving late ?we could hear the radio). And we were also told that we would be “kicked off the boat”- in this lovely language… even if the guests showed up post departure time. In response to us kindly suggesting perhaps the late guests can do the tour the next day to not hold off the boatNever seen a boat company operate like this. Usually a departure time is a departure time and people aren’t kept waiting. Also pretty sure there’s a pier departure times etc.

The Prince of Whales crew was pleasant, fun and knowledgeable. I especially appreciated their crew visiting different groups on board to provide education about the trip and local wildlife. When we saw Orion the humpback, they were able to quickly tell us who the whale was. The free worm drinks and photography sent to all on board was a nice bonus that made the price well worthwhile. I will definitely be whale watching with Prince of Whales if I come to Vancouver again.

Overall we had a good experience. The weather was nice, the crew was nice (and was clearly well educated in this area) and we have seen two humpback whales coming up for air every now and then. Too bad that we couldn't see more, but that is also the well known risk of the trip.

It’s nice and stuff are awesome. First few hours I really enjoyed but after that i was so bore.So its ok ok but not awesome.

Fantastic catamaran trip. Icing on the cake was seeing the Orcas.

We went on a trip today 21st June with Wilma, Becca James and the Captain. All I can say is WOW!!!! We were with numerous pods of orcas and spent so long with them I was totally overwhelmed. It was amazing. The crew were fantastic. Wilma was so informative and answered all our questions of which there were many. All the crew seemed passionate about the whales and it was clear this is not just a job but something they love. They were so lovely offering blankets , hats and gloves when we were cold aswell. I would highly recommend this trip and the company. Thankyou to you all as you made our dream of seeing Orcas in the ocean come true.Allie and Wayne from England
