I have known Dr. Switzer since 1992. Dr. Switzer has done several root canals for me . He has never hurt me . Fully explains everything , shows me the xrays and answers all my questions .Sometimes it is a two step treatment .I live 2 hours from Calgary, but that is ok, I have the best.His staff, I have met them all and all are really nice . They treat you like a person and not just a patient.I was referred once and after that, I could call and make an appointment after speaking with Dr. Switzer . He has always been thoughtful of my immediate needs.I would recommend Dr. Switzer to anyone needing his expertise services . He is honest and reliable . .

I just had my root canal with Dr. Switzer clinic and he so amazing! I didn’t feel any discomfort during the process, he made sure that I’m okay. Ashley on the reception is so nice as well. Highly recommended service.

I'm only posting this now because I just saw an awesome dental surgeon located next to the Glenmorgan bakery.Years ago I was sent to see this Sam Switzer to clean up a root canal another oral surgeon had done. My entire appointment took no more than 10 minutes. He sat me down put on his rubber gloves and took a tooth pick from the tray. He poked around my tooth for no more than 30 seconds and said it was done. No topical or local anesthesia at all so he didn't even waste a needle. I was charged about $1500 (without dental insurance) for all that hard work. How do these people sleep at night?

Very patient and knowledgeable. He spends lots of time with you to explain everything. It is a quiet office. He clearly isn’t trying to run through hundreds of people. He is very experienced. I had no pain at all during the visits. I would go back here any day.

When I asked him a question regarding doing a second root canal on a tooth he previously did one on he walked out of the examination room without answering it. Left me sitting there until I realized he wasn't coming back and I wouldn't get a response.Went to a different dentist to get the work done.

I have put this review off for far too long. Dr Switzer and his team are the “Gold Standard “for Endodontics! Dr Switzer is a ocean of calm in what could have been a terrible experience for me. I am hypersensitive to anything when it comes to dentistry and Dr Switzer and his staff are nothing short of compassionate, understanding and extremely effective and efficient. I have had two root canal’s in one month with these awesome dental professionals have somehow managed to put me at ease while working away to repair previous damage. Thank you!

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Samuel B Switzer. From the very first call and speaking with Ashley, I knew that I was going to be in great hands. Ashley took the time to answer all my questions and I was so pleased on our phone call that I decided to proceed with Dr. Samuel B Switzer to do my root canal. From the moment I walked in to door, I was immediately greeted by name and that spoke volume for me. Being greeted by Dr. Samuel's assistant was also very warm and welcoming and she made you feel so welcomed into the facility. The initial visit with Dr. Samuel B Switzer was fantastic. He explained everything with great detail and answered any questions I had. I could not have been happier with my choice of specialist and so happy that he took me on as a patient. I would recommend Dr. Samuel B Switzer to anyone and everyone. Very clean, very professional and very welcoming. I can't say enough positive words to describe Dr. Samuel B Switzer and his incredible staff.

My experience at Dr. Switzer's office was very positive and their dedication to their profession is readily perceived. All the staff member were very friendly and helpful. At consultation, Dr. Switzer took his time to explain to me the diagnosis and what the procedure will be like in a very clear and thorough manner. On the day of the procedure, his skillful technique and calming personality made the experience pleasant. Thank you very much for your help!

It's not every day you feel like having a root canal is a great experience!Dr. Switzer and his staff are incredibly warm and professional. He takes time to explain everything thoroughly before, during and after the procedure. You never feel like he is rushing to get to another patient, which in my experience is often the case. Even the music and decor is relazing! I hope I don't need another one, but if I do I will be requesting a referral here.
